I absolutely love this book, read it over 3 evenings (I rarely finish a book) and there are so many good ways to look at managing your own self care daily, in all situations whether big or small. Definitely a read for empaths and especially for newly realised empaths like me!

I pre-ordered this book and I’m so glad I did!! Wow. It is organized so well — I literally opened the book and dove right in. I appreciate when books have clear headlines so that you can get a pearl of wisdom simply by opening to a random page. I realized I was an empath about a decade ago when I attended a funeral of someone I didn’t know well and could not stop sobbing. I began to tune into my empath nature more, and have long needed a resource like this. Not only is the book beautiful (I appreciate a hardcover), but the first chapter is all about understanding empath natures, then the book continues with very specific and tangible ways empaths can care for ourselves. I’m so glad to have this tool as a resource — highly recommend! It would make an excellent gift too and could be especially helpful for young adults — wish I’d had this book at that stage of my life, frankly. Oh, the lessons it might have spared me…

Self-Care for Empaths has been an absolute lifesaver for me! As someone who tends to absorb the emotions of others, I often feel drained and overwhelmed. This book offers 100 thoughtfully curated activities that are perfect for empaths who need to relax, recharge, and restore their energy. Each activity is simple yet effective, with practical tips that are easy to implement into daily life.
The book covers a wide range of self-care practices, from mindfulness techniques to physical exercises and creative outlets. I particularly love how it emphasizes the importance of setting boundaries and nurturing your emotional well-being. It has helped me feel more grounded and in control of my emotions, and I now have a go-to resource for whenever I need to reset.
If you’re an empath looking for a guide to help you take better care of yourself, this book is a must-have. It’s a compassionate and empowering resource that has truly made a difference in my life. Highly recommend!

I would not have purchased it, had I realized how new-age it is. I’m adding pics of the Table of Contents, so that you can see the topics covered. IMO, the author is steering her readers into some dangerous territory. Because of that, I would not recommend the book. However, it is well-written and does provide ideas that are not new-age based. So for that, I am giving it 4 stars. Obviously, you’ll need to pick and choose from it those activities that resonate with you.

This book really was heaven sent to me! I had issues with my health & was trying to learn how to better take care of myself, so I got it.
So many beautiful practices and rituals offered! I got back to meditating, journaling, I started making art again and being creative, experienced so many amazing things during meditation.. I’ve set some boundaries with other people, and even with myself, and learned to really properly take care of myself and my needs.. not just in that superficial “face mask and ice cream” kind of way. That was only the beginning.
Would recommend it to every empath! & as I bought the Kindle version, I love it so much I’m getting paperback as well!
