Do you sometimes have an intuition you might be more than a « regular » Empath?
Are you absorbing the energy of people around you? Like it’s jumping on you uncontrollably, leaving you feeling drained and empty?
Do you find it hard not to interrupt people? Not because you’re rude or don’t care but because you already know exactly what’s being communicated and you have a million things going through your head you don’t want to forget?
If you do, then you may be a Heyoka Empath.
Although rare and mysterious, it is also the most powerful empath. His empathic and psychic powers are the most developed out of all the categories of empath.
But being a Heyoka can also feel like a curse.
Most people, including your family, don’t understand you. You feel alienated at times and it can even lead to self-esteem issues, not knowing whether or not you can trust your senses.
Ironically, understanding others better than themselves often leads to loneliness.
I’ll never forget when someone told me they wanted to be friends but couldn’t because it felt like I looked right through them into their soul.
Absorbing other people’s energy, especially negative ones, is exhausting. You have to isolate yourself for days to recover from energy and emotions that are not yours.
So you try to stay away from draining yourself emotionally by putting more distance between you and others.
Because of this, many regret that they were born a Heyoka

Absolutely lover this read! The reading style was like listening to a friend about myself and whats resonated in my life. There’s so much information on how to handle being a Heyoka empath and embracing the beautiful gift given to us but how to protect ones self and practice mindfulness techniques and grounding. But how truly beautiful it is to help others and be able to heal always 💕

This book resonated with me so much & by the end I can say I’m a Heyoka empath but one that needs to practice my gift more as I’m getting all the rewards of what I give out.
I’ve been getting those rewards for years but didn’t know what they were. After much work on self I see it all now.
Encouraged to learn about empaths I’ve read a few books but this is the only one that describes me.
Wonderful book for any sensitive or empath to read as it gives great advice on dealing with negativity.
Really did bring a smile to my face at the end & a new found respect for my gift which is why I’ll be practicing much more than I currently do 🫶🏻

For a relatively short book with amazing reviews, I expected this to be filled with new insights and information on coping and developing skills as an empath.
If you are new to the different types of empaths, and are just now exploring your abilities, this is a good introduction to an empath lifestyle.
For those who have been a life long empath, and are quite familiar with coping with various energy levels, meditations, and keeping your energy as an empath separate from others, then skip this book.

This is a very good book. It answered a lot of questions for me. I am 73 so I did start to realize that not all the things I thought and felt were me a very long time ago but I did not hear the word Empath until I was in my 40’s. I was widowed after nearly 45 years of marriage 18 months ago. About six months ago a book on the subject found its way to me. When I saw your book on Amazon I bought it without hesitation. I have already have been using some grounding exercises and I love the exercises you recommend. When you mentioned the dark humor I knew I am a Heyoka empath. Thank you for your wonderful and helpful book.

Thank you, Sophia Swan, for writing this book! It is excellent. It is the best thing I’ve come across thus far, in explaining what a Heyoka Empath is, traits and characteristics of a Heyoka, essentials and tips for self-care, and what a rare and true gift it is, and how Heyokas are instrumental in the healing of others. I studied it thoroughly, took notes, and will study the notes. I am gifting this book to a dear friend, whose name is, appropriately, Angel. And if I could give Ms. Sophia a great big hug for writing this book, sharing from her heart, and helping me and others, I would! Please consider this heart-felt review as my “hug.” .. Love, David 😉

I’ve known for a while that I’m an Empath but I’d never heard of a Heyoka empath until I found this book. After reading the description of Heyoka empath traits, I saw myself ! ( And my daughter also, so I bought her one too!). This book gives all the info you’ll need to understand yourself, your gift, how to manage it and thrive with it, how to protect yourself, your energy and your health and how to use your empathic abilities to help others . Definitely worth reading!

An amazing book, full of fantastic information for a heyoka empath.

It’s really not worth the read if you want any actual information about Heyoka that you can’t get on tik tok in half an hour.

This book called me from the time I saw it on my “you might like”…..my intuition told me I needed to read this and wow did it open my eyes and my mind. It found me in the midst of struggles is an understatement! In life, I’ve never felt very accepted or talented. I’ve tried my hand at many things and have been able to accomplish some, not all, but never did any one thing feel like this is what I am meant to do. I am a mom of three & I’ve had no regret & dedicated myself to my kids & husband for years. I’ve been just Mom & Wife for so long that I need something just for me. I have the chance to go back to work after years of stay at home life. I’ve struggled with what is a good career choice for myself, bc I don’t want to choose just any job I want to do something that fufills me. Lately, I’d been feeling sorry for and down on myself bc I felt ordinary in a world where you need a skill or to be anything but. After reading this book, I now know which way I am going with my new career & how to better cope in life. I just can’t believe I’m finally validated I do know feel and manifest things & they aren’t just coincidence, who I’ve always been, what comes natural to me, & circumstances I’ve chalked up to fate isn’t something I’m experiencing in my head & I’m far from ordinary! I’ve always been able to watch people and read them very, very well. Its amazing to me that when I just sit back and watch my surroundings, I naturally hone in on things, esp people, their body language, and how it foreshadows their behaviors and thought patterns . Some folks are so predictable, while others lie, even if the truth is better than the lie, & some have a darkness/sadness about them and to that I’ve always been drawn…& it seems equally drawn to me… I thought everyone could sympathize and empathize with everyone and be aware of others’ behaviors if they just opened their eyes. This is actually a gift, my gift & ironically enough, I’ve had this gift since birth, and all the while, I was begging God for something I already had. My heart for people and my purpose on this earth I began to be aware of over time is to help others. I just never knew how I could, and now I do – I know unequivocally without a doubt that I am able to help and heal. I check almost every single box for being a Heyoka Empath! I’ve struggled with many of the issues we can have & the author gave solutions for them, and I have gained a far greater understanding of myself. I have higher self-awareness and an awareness of the present. I’ve always struggled with simply being in the moment bc my emotions and thoughts are usually all over the place. I read a lot of things I struggled with or thought were wrong with me are normal for a Heyoka Empath, and what’s even better is I have the skills and knowledge to deal with these common issues and it shows me more and more of who I am as I begin to master these skills. All the things (meditation, mantras, etc….) my intuition told me would help the book confirmed, and when put into action, they work! I feel no longer lost and helpless but knowledgeable and empowered!

I accidentally ran across a brief summary on social media, and the last place I’d thought would lead me to the truth, to finding help and understanding.
I honestly thought I should check myself into a mental institution to try to get done answers, always thinking with all my ” symptoms” they probably won’t let me out.
It turns out, after researching, I can check off every check list in every different book that talks about “Are you an Heyoka Empath?” Yes, to all questions. I do not any longer feel that there is something dramatically wrong with my emotions and/or why can I help everyone except for myself. So many people have tried to understand me but all have failed, leaving me thinking I can not survive another day. Thank Gaia I never stopped looking for what’s ‘wrong’ with me. I had been told by shaman and psychics that I’m taking on too much people’s energy and not releasing it but nobody ever told me how to release it or how to protect myself in the first place.
I’d like to thank you with all my heart and soul as I had often contemplated ending my suffering in a very permanent way. I have hope and I’m actually excited that I can finally help myself and not just others. I can breathe, I’m not crazy and I really do care too much, which was how I’d always answered the question “what’s wrong with you?” Turns out, there’s a lot right with me too. Thank you for giving me some hope at a normal life without suffering. Sending love, light and positive energy & much gratitude.

Wonderful book, for anybody that feels sensitive to world’s problems and feels the heaviness of hard times. If you want a better understanding how to protect and thrive in this environment. It can help give understanding to what you are feeling and possibly why.

“Thе truth iѕ, yоu’rе bоrn а Hеyоkа. Yоu’rе bоrn with thаt ѕpесiаl ѕееd inѕidе оf yоu. Аѕ yоu grоw, it grоwѕ with yоu. But, in оrdеr tо dеvеlоp fully, yоu hаvе tо еmbrасе yоur gift аnd lеаrn tо mаnаgе it.”
When I read these words I cried. Finally I had found me, at 70.
As a child all 4 of my grandparents died before I started school. I remember my Dad commented about this to me and my response was, “They knew the special child had been born and they could all leave.” My Dad said, “You’re probably right.” I now know what I meant and where that came from. Thank you so much

Good to finally get information on something that I’ve been wondering for a while. I guess I could say it’s good to finally put a “label” on what I feel and what I’ve been going through for my entire life. Easy to read, too.
