Hard to say if it works well enough or not since I have only used this for a few weeks, but I haven’t really noticed anything different. Only change I have noticed is pain along my spine, but can’t say that is because of the collagen. Hoping the continued use will help my body heal. I can’t taste it at all when I add it to my Truvani shakes in the morning, but I haven’t tried it just in water. Very easy to use!

smell- maybe a slight hint of chicken, not bad- most protein has some smell. no flavor (when mixed with other flavors,) super fine powder mixes very well in my fruit smoothies (pineapple juice, celery, lemon, ginger, & banana- i do use a blendtec blender.) i have probably used every kind of protein on the market since the 90s (i don’t like eating in the morning,) been dairy free for a number of years, now being mid 40s and especially after a recent weight loss (eek- age is not friendly!) i feel collagen protein is a necessary/great choice. i’ve been using type I & III, but now trying II hoping to improve a gut issue my dr can not figure out, and also hoping it will help my knee pain~ fingers crossed! yes any brand of these ziploc type bags can pull apart from side, but i LOVE it not being a plastic container- KUDOS! i just use a clip on any bag that damages, or use another container. because most product comes from china i do not order everything from bulksupplements (example: fish collagen) but their prices are great, i have tried lots of their products through their free sample offers on amazon so i always look to them first for a product and I have not been disappointed yet- thank you bulk supplements, happy customer here.

Put 1 teaspoon in a full glass of lemon water it tasted like rotten chicken material. I question quality control. Could not finish. Waste of money. Real review.

This chicken collagen only had the faintest smell, and I did not notice any taste when I mix this into my protein shake. Chicken collagen is supposedly the best kind for your joints. What I did was buy bags of bovine, chicken, and marine collagen all from this brand. Then I mixed them in a 2:1:1 ratio (2=bovine) to create a collagen mix in order to get all forms of collagen at once. I then mix 20g of this into my protein shake. This is a lot cheaper than buying the pre-mixed multi collagen.

This is my first Time using collagen. And its so easy to use. Has no flavor or after tasted. Disolves in anything.
Started seeing the benefits on my skin. My dark spot are fading after a month’s use.

I absolutely love this collagen powder! There is no taste so I can mix it in with my oatmeal, it is not clumpy. I have been sharing it with friends so that they can use it too. My skin has been so much better as well.

I got this primarily to sprinkle on my dog’s food. I went with the chicken collagen because it is supposed to be good for joints. I am able to sprinkle this on their dog food and they eat it without any issues. It does not have a strong odor and is overall a great value for the money. The texture is somewhat gritty, but the few times I used it in a smoothie for myself I did not notice it, nor did I notice a taste. This is a brand that I trust and I believe the quality to be high. I will continue to use this for my dogs at a minimum and potentially use it more in the future for myself.

Been on a collagen kick lately. Started using this in my morning coffee a couple of weeks ago and it seems to be helping with joint pain. My right shoulder and right knee are out to lunch from carrying heavy loads on my right shoulder for years in construction. I also mix it with Bovine gelatin and make a flavored jello snack for the evening. I am also doing some other unmedicated things like grounding so I cant say for sure if this is the only thing working but I am pretty much out of pain and I think that Collagen will be on the shopping list from now on.

Mixed feelings. Works well but the taste is so bad I just can’t be consistent.

Diagnosed with Degenerative Thoracic Disc Disease in shoulder and stenosis of the spine, along with general knee pain from sports. I’ve been taking this stuff for two months using DOUBLE the recommended dose, and have not noticed any difference in pain anywhere, range of motion is about the same. If it was half the price, I would continue to take it, but at $46 for 2.2 lbs, I don’t really think it’s worth the cost.
As far as the taste, I was mixing with morning coffee, there is a slight sour taste. Not bad, not horrible, but you’ll know it’s there. You’ll want to mix it with something hot, it does not mix well with cold drinks and will clump.

No unpleasant flavor or texture. Bought this to see if it might help with my knee osteoarthritis. Been using for ten days now along with some other supplements and noticed less knee stiffness so far. Will be supplementing with this long term to see how it does. Plastic bag it came in is adequate but I preferred putting it in a plastic air tight food container for easy scooping and sealing.

Im 50++, hiking a lot to keep up (almost every day), lately noticed discomfort and pain in knees after long hikes.
After one week taking it pain has gone 🙂
Some unpleasant smell like any concentrate but not too bad, a bitter taste…
Im mixing it with 1/2 cup of water and adding some grapefruit juice.

One of my dogs has had 2 TPLO’s. Both my dogs love it as a topping sprinkled on their food or as a broth when I mix in some water..

I purchased this specifically for my knee joints. Maybe it will eventually help but what I have REALLY noticed is incredible nail strength and growth, improvement in thinning hair, and especially SKIN radiance which has been commented on by other people (“what have you been doing, you are glowing”). I will continue to purchase this. I use way more than the recommended teaspoon. I put at least 2 tablespoons in my coffee every morning.
