For sleep YES!!
Our son has Autism and is taking hours and hours to fall asleep. Gave him 6 drops of this and it works but that many drops also makes him sleep half the next day. So I’ve cut back slowly and found that 2 drops is the sweet spot. He’s awake a normal time the next morning yet is asleep in less than 45 minutes after giving it. Many will think that because we give our cats catnip to rile them up it will do the same for humans but it doesn’t. Try it!!

Don’t know why somebody was putting this in their drink and complaining about it. For cats it works amazing, obviously it’s got a little alcohol content, but neither of my cats (who are wildly different, tabby and nebelung) have any issues with it, they go nuts.

Being a long time sufferer of sciatic pain, (degenerative disc disease, ridiculopathy, herniations in l3-l4, l4-l5, l5-s1) I have been through a myriad of treatments..
Chiropractic, pain management, medication, physical therapy, surgery…
A friend suggested catnip tincture..
I wholeheartedly believe in holistic cures.. modern medicine is based on them.. and I don’t believe that this is going to magically cure my issues… BUT..
It seems to alleviate some of the nerve pain, numbness and tingling that I had prior to taking it.. and that is a plus in my book.. be it actual or psychosomatic it doesn’t matter. I have noticeably less pain!
This is the exact same product I purchased at my local organic natural foods health store, and more than a few bucks cheaper.. and you can get it on scheduled shipments…
All natural, calming, sleep inducing, cramp relieving, eases nerve spasms, full of vitamins C and E, similar to valerian and chamomile gives you necessary antioxidants and natural calm. Safe for children and adults (but please check with a doctor before use, and do not use if pregnant)
Heck.. if you have pain, you know 12 bucks is nothing if it gives you some relief.. I hope it helps you as it seem to have me…
Tip… squirt your dropper full into a small glass of tea… (catnip is in the mint family!!)

I can’t recommend this product enough. Initially I bought it because my cats were having a hard time adjusting to their new home (we just moved) and 4th of July was around the corner with scary explosions. I wanted something I could put in the humidifier to give the kitties a constant dose of calmness. Unfortunately, the only decent catnip essential oil was astronomically priced. I tried a few of the other brands, but none of them worked. This product wasn’t an essential oil like I had been looking for, but I thought I’d give it a chance after reading the reviews. I suffer from PTSD, so I figured it might even work on my too since many of the reviewers mentioned using the tincture to treat anxiety. WOW. It really works. This stuff can cut a panic attack down to size within about a minute. My cats love it too. Yes, you can put it in a diffuser, but since it’s edible I’ve found it works better if you mix it in with food or just put a drop on your cat’s paw. They’ll be happy for hours and that foot will get super clean. For human consumption I recommend mixing the tincture into tea (particularly mint). In an emergency I’ll squeeze the dropper into a mouthful of water, but don’t do that unless you have to. I’m even thinking about making some tea ahead of time and dosing the whole batch. If anyone else drinks it by accident they’ll just be super calm and hydrated.

This is the only way I can get my spoiled little Princess to take her anxiety meds. I have to put a drop inside the pill pockets before closing them because she won’t eat the regular pill pockets. She is a fiend for catnip though and this works great.

Definitely helps me to sleep when I take it right before getting into bed. PS I do take prescription sleeping medication, but I can tell a difference when I take this on top of it.

can’t really tell yet if it has any effect on me, will test longer and update :~)

I just received my product today. I was disappointed how the alcohol smell overpowers the catnip smell. It will probably still be a good product, but just not what I bought it for. My cats hate the alcohol smell.
