This is a great product. I spend lots of time as a teacher around sick kids but manage to stay healthy by taking this product. There are a lot of immune defense products out there but this one really works. Haven’t been able to find it in a store.

Andrographis is shrub native to India and Sri Lanka. It is a time tested Immunity modulator that has been used Ayurvedic medicine since times immemorial. In addition to its antiviral and antibacterial effects Andrographis is also used for its benefits to the liver and its function as a digestive aid. It was accredited for stopping the Spanish flu outbreak in India.
Herb pharm is a herb company that was founded by the prestigious herbalist Ed Smith. It is based out of Williams Oregon where they grow many of their herbs. They have a reputation for making high quality tintures and carefully sourced Herbs.

Yes, it’s bitter and dark, but so are coffee and chocolate. To my tongue, the andrographis shares taste compounds with both of those.
But never mind the taste: does it work?
My ND recommended it, so I figured I’d give it a try.
Worked like a charm. I use it any time I feel under the weather. This stuff even kicked my EBV.
I was concerned about it causing insomnia. It didn’t.
I’m ordering more.

This has helped shorten the duration of our colds, but oh my word, is it ever disgusting! My 14-year-old will force herself to chug it in orange juice with a water chaser. My 11-year-old refuses to drink it at ALL. So bottom line: if you can get yourself to take it, it’s beneficial. But that’s a big IF.

This works great for my BF. We use it for immune support and strangely it also helps with anger/mood sometimes as well. We prefer the tinctures and not the pills. The bitter taste will knock your socks off but it’s worth the benefits. I do not take it but it helps him a lot with pain and some immune system issues.
