I have to admit this card deck is really different for a tarot deck. The dynamic is different in the way you read the cards and yet basically the same. They give you obviously completely different cards to work with but in the same instance your getting 4 suits to work with some symbolism in the numbers involving the deck suits. For me it’s going to take some time to learn how to use this deck in a fluid way. Since it’s different than the regular tarot there is definitely learning involved with this deck. I think I would use this deck with someone who doesn’t fit the bill of what would be a regular reading, I’m not even sure how that works out but I do know one day I’ll run into that scenario. I think it’s fun to explore new opportunities to do readings so this is cool its own way.
The decks cards are typical of regular tarot or oracle card decks. They are easy to shuffle and a good size for it. I have no issues shuffling them up anyway. The readings will be tricky to remember off the top of my head just because it’s like different than normal tarot. It does come with a booklet to follow along with your readings so you will need that to really grasp these cards meanings. They do pack alot of information into them but it will be really up to you how you interpret them.
The art is whimsical and fun and sorta childish and cute. If I could sum it all up in the way I visually perceive it… It is all of that. Even the darker cards. Like cute dark?

This Witchy Tarot Oracle is really an oracle card set, not a tarot set. It features symbolic cards and playing cards. The booklet says that the Lenormand cards originate in the 18th and 19th century and evolved from playing card cartomancy. I haven’t used a deck like this before but I like this one quite a bit.
The cards feature adorable art work that has a cozy, witchy vibe to it. The card stock is good quality for actually using the cards. I would consider this a working deck due to the card stock thickness and durability. The cards come in a cute little box with a guide book.
Each card features a playing card suit and number in addition to an oracle number and symbol. The guide book makes doing layouts and reading card meanings easy. There is a lot of overlap with familiar tarot and oracle sets, too, which helps make readings easier to learn.
I really like this oracle card deck. I love the artwork. The booklet is well laid out and easy to follow. The card stock is good quality for a working deck.

My daughter has been into card reading lately and the deck sat well with her from the first shuffle. The artwork has a playful hand-drawn style with a witchy theme that she finds more appealing than the traditional look of older decks. Each card has a different illustration and the lines are clean with soft color fills that make the imagery easy to read at a glance. The cardstock is thick and has a smooth coated finish that lets the cards glide against each other during shuffling without sticking or bending. After a few weeks of near-daily use the edges are still sharp with no peeling or wear showing. The included guidebook walks through each card with explanations and she found it helpful for learning the meanings without needing to look things up online. The two-piece box is sturdy enough to keep the deck protected on her shelf. Smaller deck than a full tarot set, which she actually prefers since it is quicker to work through.
