My variation is the lion in the silver sheen obsidian, and I love mine. It arrives very giftable, so you don’t have to get anything extra if you were going to give it to someone. It is actually a very large pendant, and mine is well made. The carving and polish is nice, and it comes on an adjustable cord. It actually might be too heavy to wear as a pendant for some people, however, these types I like to display vs wear as I have a little situation where I keep similar items together in my home. The child in the house was especially pleased with this. It would be great for anyone who is a general collector, and it might be nice for those who are Leos or for people who love lions or animals.
Mine has some silvery sheen, and with this type of stone, unless you are ordering the exact stone in the pictures, you just never know what you will get. I would have been fine without any since I know how it goes, but I’m particularly happy with my stone variation. It’s an interesting look on the lion formation since the carving work alone gives off glassy or shiny areas that are light reflective. You just want to explore and test it out in different lighting whether it is actual sunlight or artificial. Also, mine has a silver sheen bead on the top of it where I can really see the cat’s eye effect with the obsidian. Sphere’s can be the best to see this type of phenomenon which this bead is round.
Overall, I don’t have any complaints, and I really love mine, thank you.
