There are a lot of different brands of this sugar but this one is my favorite. It’s as close to the Teavanna beet sugar I was using before they went out of business. Don’t waste your money buying the other brands

I first discovered beet sugar on a trip to Ireland over a decade ago. I loved the gentle sweetness and slight earthy flavor with my hot tea (English style, with a splash of milk). I’ve been trying to find sugar with a similar flavor ever since. These sugar crystals are it! They’re not as sweet as cane sugar, and they look beautiful in a clear glass jar or at the bottom of my cup.
As other reviewers have said, they don’t dissolve easily, but since I only drink hot tea and have always started with sugar and poured hot water over it, it’s not a problem. I can see that the paper packaging could tear and be an issue. I haven’t had that happen, and the paper does seem more sustainable than plastic, but I’m not sure it’s recyclable. I guess I’d rather not have it rip in transit. I also had no issues with the color. The white powdery substance is just sugar. I used every last bit from my package and while the powder isn’t as pretty as the crystals, it still tastes the same. Also, for the reviewer who said it’s cane sugar not beet, they probably ordered, or received, the wrong type. The package I got clearly said beet sugar.
I was told in Ireland that beet sugar had more nutrients than cane sugar, but I looked that up and it’s not true. I don’t know how regularly I’ll buy this, given it’s way more expensive than the organic cane sugar I’ve been buying from Costco for years. But I’ll probably keep some on hand for when i’m feeling fancy, or when I invite friends over for tea (never happened yet, but one can dream.)

Love this rock sugar. Dissolves well in hot tea. Sweet but doesn’t overpower tea the way white sugar does. I use it everyday. Gave some to my neighbor, and she loves it too.

I’ve been purchasing these for over a year. I get a bag about every month or sooner if there is a good sale coupon.
I love using with my tea. Tastes great, good size sugar rocks, texture and quality is great for me and my husband too.
I’m happy to only see the ingredient is just beet sugar as well!
Worth the money in my opinion, but I go through them very quickly with having 1-3 cups of tea daily, so I mostly get a bag when a sale price is listed or a coupon pops up on the item.

I really enjoyed the beet sugar. It has a nice smooth taste. I recommend recommended for anyone who’s trying to avoid white sugar.
