The shorter chain has a beaded style with small CZ stones set in a heart pendant, while the longer chain is smooth and threads through a circular pendant holding a shiny amethyst-colored stone. Rule number one – when a title says Dainty take it at face value. This necklace is just as described – but once you get it – you can see that its truly dainty. I liked the layered look, but it’s designed on such a small scale that it’s hard to get the true benefit of it. I really think this is designed for a tween or teen who wants just a whisper of chain on her neck. I also had a hard time taking it out of the packaging and getting it untangled. I only wore it once and the whole day I was afraid I was going to break it.
