I ordered pietersite. What I got looks like a bunch of pebbles in a ball of polished cement. One side is brecciated jasper, which from a distance I guess sort of looks like pietersite but it’s very clearly not. There’s zero chatoyancy on the entire huge sphere, no blue no red. Super bummed. I didn’t expect a jewel for that price, but I do expect to get what’s advertised. It’s dishonest as hell. I’ve got a handful of other things from this company in my cart, thankfully I gave the company a test run with just one item first

You get what you pay for with crystals and especially something rare like pietersite. The price seemed too good to be true and it was. The piece I received was some kind of stone but definitely not pietersite and not worth over $50. It had no blue at all, no purple, no gold and just a muted beige and mud color with absolutely no chatoyancy. A substandard crystal on all levels and sent back. I will not purchase anything else from this seller after this experience. I purchased a fluorite sphere earlier and it is lovely but this pietersite sphere is flat out ugly, has no crystal energy and should not have been sold.
According to the box it is packaged and shipped from China. What is the deal about it being a small business?
Okay so the third piece: red jasper flame came and it is going back too. The photos have absolutely. Nothing to do with oth what I received. What a total disappointment.
This seller seems to have very poor consistency. Buy in person when you can. These stones are so disappointing.

The item is well polished and prettyish, I guess, if you want a 95%brown, generic-looking rock. It looked more blue than brown in the picture, but my specimen was nearly all brown. I know ymmv on specimens, but I honestly dislike this particular rock. I’m deciding on whether to return it. I suspect that, in future, I will not buy specimen rocks on line but in person.
