I’ve used this product in buggy FL for years now, along with fly predators. My horses like the taste, but not in wet food, make sure the flakes are dry. If you have a rat problem in your barn this helps too, they hate the smell.

The garlic works great to help repel flies without chemicals but I gave it a 4 star because of the packaging. When the garlic arrived the container it was in was opened and the garlic was loose in the box. The original plastic container had been taped with only 2 pieces of tape and was not secured.

We started feeding the ponies in February this year. We live in Texas and have used this product for 3 years. This year we started early. I also have chickens and I add some to their feed. We have VERY few flies while my friends and neighbors are suffering!

Does what it says. Took me a bit to get my horses eating it, but I added a small amount to my bin of whole plain oats and it soaked up the scent and flavor without overpowering my horses noses. Fed just the oats for a few days and then slowly added garlic flakes until I got them up to a full scoop each. Now they love it.

I live in central florida across the street from a trail head and the bugs at times are insane …In november 2022 i started with a double dose of Hilton Herb Garlic and went threw a gallon of Gordons fly spray every month and fast forward to August 2023 .NO FLY SPRAYS …..cause i have no Bombers or deer flies and even biting flies are rare and NO FLY MASK cause i have no problem with gnats or eye flies .My mares get 1 scoop in AM now . It took a while to really get in their system and the results are wonderful !!! Plus i do not feed any by-products ONLY WHOLE FOODS ….They are chemical free and look amazing .They do have odd fly attacks but they are brief once the fly tastes the wonderful garlic …lol..And even Miss Ellie loves it …She despises any other garlic .

My horses have been on this supplement for over 2 weeks. The fly season has just started and yesterday my horse was covered in flies. When I took this picture my horse shook his head so most of the flies took off… I’m disappointed and so are my horses…

Three of my four horses have become accustomed to eating the garlic. It seems to help with most aggressive horse and deer flies when also keeping the barn mucked out daily and applying fly spray

I wouldn’t call it a cure all for flies but it helped in addition to fly spray with my live stock. I definitely noticed a difference.

When I found this product I figured it wouldn’t work…. But after two weeks of feeding it to my horses (I mix it into their grain) the flies are gone!!! It’s super easy to use, the tub literally smells just like garlic. It took a while for my horses to get used to it but it’s really worth it for the price to have the flies gone all summer!

Product is good , but the container it is packed in arrives with the lid off for the second time with the contents dumped out in the shipping box . They need to do something about their lids .
