Perfect size for our onions!! We also use for garlic. Hang them on a nail and they dry and last a long time!!!

The design of these bags is great. I’m noticing my onions are potatoes are lasting much longer now and it’s easy to pop the vegetables out the bottom of the bags. I live in an apartment so have no access to cool storage and hang these in a dark closet. It’s working really well so far.

Great storage solution! I use them for onion and garlic bulbs in my pantry, and it’s great

I like the design and color, but the stitches that has le b velcro ripped.

We grew onions this year and I needed these to be able to hang them in the pantry. They are perfect for storing the onions and it was easy to hang the bags. These will also last a long time as you can gently wash these and re use them the next season.

Great for storing garlic.

I bought this for holding veg in our caravan and thought it would be a novel way to store extra toilet rolls. There is absolutely NO stretch to the fabric and that was indicated to me by the photos therefor I was actually afraid they would stretch too much. I have no use for these but I never opened the bags neatly so I can’t even return them. Very disappointed as they were quite pricey for what they are. I even wet one as they are so stiff I thought perhaps fabric sizing was preventing the stretch, but sadly, no.

These work wonderfully for storing produce in the pantry. The only complaint I have is that the side closures make it a bit difficult to grab the items at the very bottom of the bag (the oldest items). If they put a closure on the bottom instead of the side, it would be a perfect design.

I’ve used these for about a month now for various purposes and have liked them. They do the job with the potatoes and the onion. I put an entire bag of yellow potatoes in one and it’s still hanging on the wall strong. I have a special needs kid and we also use them for matched socks. He can open the bag himself and take one out at a time. It hangs next to the hanging shoe rack and has made life considerably easier on that front with learning independence and self care. In all, the bags are soft, great size and stronger than they look for sure. I love the Velcro opening to be able to pull from the side. Easy access from multiple points. Would buy again and have recommended to friends. Sorry pics are a bit dark.

I am really happy with these bags. Great to use for fruits and vegetables. I like that I can retrieve them from the sides. They have a lot of airflow which is nice. The velcro makes them easy to open and close. The material on the edge and hanging part is holding up really well. I use it for apples, onions, avocados, oranges, and just about anything else I use on a weekly basis. They help to make my house look tidy. They are easy to clean and dry. They hold a lot of weight too. I think these would be a great gift for those with small homes as these do not take up counter space.

The mesh onion bags work as advertised. They hold onions which hang from a hook in the pantry so air can circulate around them. They seem to be well made and will last for quite a while. I like that fact that they can be washed as needed.

Used to have bags of potatoes and onions stored on top of my microwave- always irked me but I didn’t have the pantry or counter space for those dedicated storage canisters and, honestly, thought they were ridiculously priced and would be a pain to clean. Consequently, my potatoes would turn green and begin to sprout very quickly and the onion didn’t fare much better. 🙁
Fast forward to these handy bags and what a difference! I don’t have the unsightly bags and mess to look at every time I walk through my kitchen AND my potatoes and onions are remaining fresh and usable for weeks! Definitely worth such a minimal investment.
For what it’s worth, if you’ve already read this far here are a few other things you might find helpful:
– The bags work best while hanging, but could be stored in a flat surface if you tie up the top so your produce doesn’t tumble out. If you opt for this method, keep in mind you’ll need to untie the top every time you want to refill or empty any remaining items and add your new stock through the re-closeable holes if you want to maintain a first in/first out method. If you hang them, the hole at the top will be pulled in a way that makes it seem smaller so you’ll need two hands to add in from the top- one to hold the hole open, the other to drop in your items.
– If you’ll be storing them in your pantry, consider the weight of the items when selecting a hook or how to hang the bags. I lost a few potatoes to a Command hook that couldn’t hold the weight- LOL! Over the door hooks were helpful. I also made the most of the empty space on either side of the pantry door by using the metal shelving instead of a hook. Just place the top loop through the wire shelf and thread the rest of the bag through the loop on the other side- no hooks needed. 🙂

I had a terrible time keeping my potatoes, onions and garlic fresh. I wasn’t sure about this item but it was inexpensive enough to give it a try. What a pleasant surprise!! They are wonderful for all the reasons I needed them. I have hung them from hooks in my pantry which makes them easily accessible and I have a tendency to use them more since they are right there to use. You can see through the netting well enough to keep an eye on everything so nothing ends up rotting. I bought 2 sets have used all of them. I really recommend these little hanging sacks…they also have velcro fasteners to make the sacks smaller for garlic or leave them big for potatoes.

These mesh bags are made nicely and I am using them. The advertising indicated they would hold approximately 6 large onions. The number of large Vidalia onions I am able to fit in a bag is only 3. I still think they were worth the money spent.

The bags are smaller than they appear but that’s not a problem. The bags are nice and have a place at the bottom that can be opened or closed with a Velcro strip. So far they work great,I’m using one bag for used plastic grocery bags. One for red potatoes another for white potatoes and one for onions. Any root vegetables would be a good choice for this kind of storage. Since the bags are not overly large I won’t be tempted to buy too many of any one veggie, that way there is a less likely chance of them spoiling before they’re used.
I don’t want to put any fruit in the bags because they can get damaged or bruised from being bounced around and from pressure of being weighted down by the other fruit. I specifically have had trouble with oranges being damaged by pressure spots and apples and pears being bruised by the other pieces in a bag or bowl.
