Very old. Hardly any smell or spice. Has lost its potency. Very disappointed

The Ginger comes in a vacuum packed bag, that has to be cut open. you also get supplied a resealable bag to put your Ginger root into after you have cut open the shipping vacuum bag.
which I think is very considerate.

This Ginger Root is a good herb to have on hand. The health benefits of ginger root are entirely too many to try to list here. I like using fresh when I have it, but for herbal teas, I use dried ginger root and am impressed with Herbs Botanica brand. Although it says you can use it to make tinctures, I like using fresh, organic ginger root for tinctures. But for herbal teas, this product is ideal. If you aren’t a fan of the ginger flavor, but need the benefits, you can always add a bit of ground up cardamom seeds which has a citrusy sweet flavor, or a bit of dried orange peel, or both. I use the ginger root in my tea to help with stomach issues and digestive issues. Also good for nausea, and a plethora of other things. I’m an herbalist, not a doctor. You should always seek advice from medical provider before adding any medicinal herbs to your diet.

Excellent product. So much less expensive than purchasing from our health food store. I will continue to purchase many times in the future.

We use a lot of dried ginger in tea. This is a great price for bulk ginger but it isn’t super potent. I have to augment with fresh or add more of this. Overall decent value.
