I’ve tried a lot of herbal tinctures over the years, and this stinging nettle one is a pretty solid, clean option—especially if you’re trying to avoid alcohol-based extracts. I like that it only has three ingredients (nettle leaf, glycerin, and water) and skips added sugar and unnecessary fillers.
The taste is mild and slightly earthy with a hint of natural sweetness from the glycerin, which makes it much easier to take compared to harsher tinctures. It mixes well in water or can be taken directly if you don’t mind the herbal flavor.
I picked this up mainly for seasonal support and fluid balance, and while it’s not something that gives an immediate “wow” effect, it feels like a gentle, supportive addition over time. If you’re sensitive to supplements, this seems like a good one to start slow with since nettle can still have noticeable effects.
The dropper is easy to use, and the bottle feels well-made. I do wish the price per ounce was a bit lower, but the larger size is definitely the better value if you plan to use it consistently.
Overall, a clean, simple nettle tincture that does what it’s supposed to without a bunch of extras—just go in with realistic expectations since this is more of a gradual support supplement than a quick fix.

This is my first experience with stinging nettle supplement, but I have tried other supplements from this brand and been very pleased with their quality and transparency. This was on par with their other products.
The tincture is made in the USA and contains only the nettle, organic vegetable glycerin for some sweetness, and water. It super straightforward so you know exactly what you are getting. There is no added alcohol or sugar or coloring agents. The liquid is brown in color but looks clear of visible particulates or cloudiness.
The liquid should be shaken before opening and uses a dropper to dispense the tincture. The smell is a bit malty while the flavor is very earthy and bitter. The vegetable glycerin helps to make it taste like a slightly sweet tea. Most of the time I add the dropper to apple or tart cherry juice and don’t notice any change in the flavor of the juice. If I’m rushing and short on time, I’ll just use it by itself and it’s not bad with a swig of water. Just one dropper is the recommended dose on the label, so the entire bottle is about a three month supply. The dispensing applicator has graduated markings to indicate amounts for regulating the dose. The dropper works well to measure and administer the liquid easily.
The label and packaging are really nicely designed and made to clearly communicate about the product and the company. As an avid consumer of supplements, I really appreciate finding information quickly and easily. The Herbamama brand obviously values transparency and an informed consumer. It may seem like a really small thing, but I don’t like a lot of unsightly clutter in my kitchen; this product is so nicely designed in appearance that I actually like to leave it out and have it visible on the counter.

Stinging nettle has various heath benefits and I ordered some dried nettle to make tea. I just couldn’t drink it consistently as the taste was just awful. I figured I’d try this Herbamama stinging nettle tincture and hope for the best. The drops aren’t the best tasting but I’ve been able to take them more consistently as they are palatable and taking a dropperful is much easier than drinking a whole cup of stinging nettle tea. I appreciate being able to get some of the health benefits of stinging nettle in an easy to take tincture. The drops are non gmo, contain simple ingredients and made in the USA, all of which I appreciate.

Got this for my husband who takes it for it’s many health benefits.
It’s high in vitamins and antioxidants which leads to cardio and skin health and lowers pain from inflammation.
This is a very good tasting high quality product (a bit spicy, he says) with an easy to use, competent dropper for quick, accurate dosing.
Almost 3 months worth of doses makes it an excellent value.

I like this products, its dropper and bottles are very convenient to use it. Everything looking good and so much relive that product is made in USA, not comes out ingredients from some filthy and dirty country. Please keep up the good work and keep it simple that don’t import any ingredients from cancerous country.

I love the flavor of stinging nettles, whether sautéed or in a soup. There’s something alive and revivifying about the flavor that really captures my taste buds. So, I was looking forward to trying this version as a daily supplement. Imagine my surprise to discover it has no flavor whatsoever. To many that will be welcome news.
Regardless of the flavor, it has a power that you can feel after a couple of days. I felt less draggy. And there were no side effects or problems with any other meds or supplements I take. That makes it a good value in my book, so I’ll keep taking it, and maybe one day I will find someone to make me the soup again.

I have heard that stinging nettle was a fairly effective herbal remedy for inflammation but have never tried it. I also know it’s a mild diuretic. Using it is simple: use the included dropper full of the tincture and put it in a small amount of beverage of your choice once a day, or take it right from the dropper. The bottle will deliver about 84 doses.
I appreciate it’s made in the USA, vegan, alcohol free, and sugar free. It uses vegetable glycerin to slightly sweeten it. It has a mild, earthy flavor that isn’t unpleasant, like a strong tea, and the sweetener sort of softens the bitterness. I also like the ingredients are simple and clearly listed on the product page and on the product itself.

This stinging nettle tincture is a solid, straightforward herbal option for urinary tract and kidney support. I appreciate that it’s alcohol-free, sugar-free, and clearly labeled with Urtica dioica, which shows some care in formulation and transparency. It’s easy to add to water or take directly, and the dropper makes dosing simple.
It’s not the yummiest thing you’ll ever take, but it isn’t completely unpalatable either. As someone knowledgeable about herbs and supplements, I chose this through Vine because I value clean, purposeful ingredients and can give an informed opinion on whether it’s worth purchasing. Overall, a good-quality tincture that does what it’s meant to do.
