We are Frontier fans in general, having found them by way of their terrific chamomile tea. Their whole flaxseeds are fresh and a generous amount for the price. We use them in smoothies, salads, vegan patties and loafs Highly recommend.

Bag looks a little tired, which makes me think it’s been on the self for a while.
I’ve ordered a lot of tea from them which has always been really fresh.
So I am not concerned about this one.
Haven’t opened it yet as
I ordered the same from Starwest,
who’s bag looked great.
I opened it first.

Flax seeds for omega 3 is great!

I used this product for a Museum Exhibit that highlighted trade goods that were essential in the 18th Century. We have an early account book that lists English tea, flax seed, rum, molasses, carded wool, coffee, creamware, pearlware. Our museum is a first settlers’ timber framed home in Sandwich Massachusetts.

I never buy flax seed powder because it looses its intensity. I prefer using a tool like a coffee grinder to pulverize enough seeds for a 1 week supply and store it in a glass spice jar in the refrigerator to assure I get the purest most potent flax oil. In my humble opinion its more potent that cold pressed flax oil. I buy a number of Frontier products and the quality is always top shelf. I know how it is grown, where it is grown and how and why it is packaged plus they clearly instruct how to prepare and store the products and how best to apply them. Frontier has earned my customer loyalty.
