This book is for people who are highly sensitive in regards not to emotions but also cognitively and compassionately. I don’t see myself as an empath, a person who can sense a person’s emotion right as that person enters a room, but some of the tips were helpful. A lot of new age tips were in there as well when it came to healing those who were overwhelmed such as Chakra healing. As a Christian, the language actually translated to me as a spirit of discernment, which can see the environment with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It was helpful understanding empath which is more than being empathic, but I believe this is different language for those people who are spiritually aware of environments and re people in them.

This book is an incredible resource for empaths looking to understand and harness their unique sensitivities in a healthy and empowering way. Vincent provides practical tools for emotional self-care, including mindfulness practices, energy protection techniques, and boundary-setting strategies that have made a huge difference in my life. I loved the section on identifying where you fall on the empath spectrum—it’s eye-opening and helps you tailor the advice to your specific needs.

Great book. It covers all aspects from definitions to recharging and recovery. I also really like that each chapter has a chapter summary to review and ensure the most important information is reinforced. I think people can really learn a lot about an empath, whether they are one or have one in their lives. Great gift idea too.

This book offers meaningful encouragement and helpful reflections for those on a healing path. The tone is warm and supportive, making it easy to connect with. A bit more depth or personal stories would enhance it, but overall, it’s a valuable and uplifting read.

As a teacher, I study different types of personalities and learners. This book hits everything you need to know if you ARE and empath or see them in your life. I especially like the sequence of the organization and the connection to “creating a more compassionate society” (Chpt. 10) Plus there are lots of references.

As someone who’s always felt emotions deeply, I found Empaths Rule! to be incredibly insightful and practical. The techniques for mastering emotions, setting boundaries, and boosting intuition are presented in a way that’s easy to follow but still full of depth. I especially appreciated the focus on protecting your energy—something I didn’t realize I needed help with until reading this book.
The author provides over 30 techniques, and what I love most is that they’re not overwhelming. You can start small and build up as you feel comfortable. It’s empowering to feel like I now have the tools to handle the world without feeling drained or overwhelmed. If you’re a highly sensitive person looking to navigate your emotional world with more confidence, I highly recommend this book!

In the book there is a link to submit an email and they would send a test to discover the empath scale.
I didn’t receive any emails and therefore can’t discover my spectrum.

This book is an invaluable resource for empaths seeking to harness their unique abilities with a balanced and practical approach. The author delves deeply into the nature of empathy, offering actionable strategies for emotional self-care, including detailed mindfulness techniques and energy protection rituals. The chapter on “Living a Balanced Life as an Empath” stands out with its profound insights, providing readers with specific exercises, such as shield visualization, designed to fortify one’s energy field against external emotional influences. The chapter on “Creating a More Compassionate Society” introduces the “compassionate action,” an approach for applying empathic abilities across various societal roles. The book’s exploration of the empathic spectrum and the importance of setting healthy boundaries is both enlightening and empowering. I appreciate how it highlights the potential for empaths to make a significant impact in fields requiring deep compassion, such as education and healthcare. Overall, this book is a commendable guide for empaths aiming to effectively harness their gifts and foster a more empathetic world.

I was curious to read this book since I am an empath and I work with people all the time as a teacher. I feel like I take on other people’s emotions and it tires me a lot! This book gave me a sense of relief to know that you can life a balanced life and this book gives me the tools to do that! This book taught me that there is an empath spectrum and you can figure out what level of empath you are by doing a test included!
