This herbal product is one of the most well known premier Ayurvedic supplements, which has been used for centuries. Amazon does not generally allow us to discuss the effects of herbal supplements, so I recommend that anyone wanting to know more, should do their own research. There is a lot of information online about this product. I thought that the price on this half pound bag was really great. I plan to use my capsule maker, to make capsules with this powder. It is not something that I would take on a daily basis but only as needed. It has a best by date of Sept. 2025, so a little over a year. I love it that it is organic and well prepared. The taste is really not too bad either. This is a wonderful product at a very good price. I will definitely buy again.

When I opened the shipping bag, the powder was all over the place. Somehow the bag came open inside the shipping bag – without damage to the shipping bag. Unfortunately I was unable to use the product.

Overall: Recommended! Great product for supporting improved immune function in our opinion the bottle packaging is fine and the safety seals are doing the job. Nice that it is independently tested and that it has good manufacturing practice (GMP) certification. We like to check with our care practitioner before starting a new supplement and this Harad one seemed fine : ) Cheers!

I mixed this powder into a batch of cooked rice, and it gave the rice a good taste. I think you could add it to water or a smoothie as well. It’s very finely ground, so it dissolves quickly. There are no instructions on the bag, so you will have to look up ways of preparing the powder if you use it for cooking. I only used one teaspoon for a cup of cooked rice. The price is very reasonable for this item, compared with other powder supplements. I have used other Darsa Organics powder supplements before, and I have been very satisfied with the quality of all of them! It comes in a resealable zip-lock bag.

This harad powder is light yellow and is very fine. It came poofing out of the bag when I opened it so watch out. It doesn’t taste great by itself because it is very bitter but that is how it is supposed to taste. I personally recommend putting it in capsules and then taking it so you don’t have to taste it. If you do a quick search you can learn about the great benefits of this powder. I love that it is organic and seems to be great quality. It does come in a resealable bag to keep it fresh.

I’m trying to collect a stockpile of alternative or homeopathic supplements in capsule, liquid, leaf, and powder form. I’ve never heard of Harad Haritaki powder, but there’s always a lot of information out there on the herbs. Not all supplements have FDA approval, but this one does. This powder is produced and packaged in India. That being said, any supplements I use are recorded on my medical records just in case I have any sort of reaction.
The ingredient label simply states this is Harad Haritaki powder. There are a few suggestions for use, but I’ve spotted more on the Internet. There is a claim that this powder does have excellent healing properties. It does have a Best By date stamped on the packaging. I do like this brand (love it actually) and have enjoyed sampling several of their products. I like the fact that it’s in a resealable bag that has a window in which I could actually see the powder itself.
