This deck is in several different languages. The author is Italian. I’m going to take a wild guess his first language isn’t English. Those saying the guide book doesn’t make sense aren’t taking the time to think for a minute or two. Some of the sentences are a bit odd, yes, but they do come together if you think about it for a second!
And the messages are deep if you’re willing to dive in. I’ve literally pulled one card from this deck so far and the message blew me away, personally. I’ve been thinking about it for days, pondering on it.
I’m honestly impressed that the english is as good as it is, given how many languages the deck is in. It would be nice if a native English speaker had done an edit but, if you can set aside your need for everything to be perfect when you can find amazing messages in this deck.
I’ve looked through the cards individually and they’re all beautiful. The dark artwork doesn’t mean the messages are dark. I really feel this deck was made to shine light onto our darkness so that we can grow. I love it.
The cardstock isn’t the highest quality, but it’s very easy to shuffle and feels nice in my hands. The box has an awesome little ribbon to pull the cards and book out. It’s a nice deck. Treat it well and look past your own language prejudices and you’ll find it has a lot to teach you.

Excellent for Shadow work and exploring the less appealing aspects of the human self. If you’re sensitive to ‘dark’ images such as insects, death, darkness, pain, blood, etc, and general ‘horror-looking’ cards, I recommend looking for something else as these may trigger you if you don’t have proper coping mechanisms or at the very least to not use these alone. I plan on using them this Samhain sabbat for divination to help with the theme of death & rebirth. I should note I keep them in a separate box than my other tarot card collection because of its strong association with the shadow work and heavy emotional energy. And I also suggest to cleanse them before and after use.
The cards are a good size and easy for me to shuffle. Good quality and the booklet is helpful but not too illustrative which I prefer.

Beautiful artwork on the cards. They fit perfectly in the thick cardboard box and there is a recent bin to help with easy removal. The book comes in 6 languages though the cards are in English. The book has a full page dedicated to each card which is nice. The size of the cards is larger than standard playing cards but they aren’t difficult to hold.

Espelho escuro: que personalidade eu criei para viver? Porque não aceito olhar o meu lado sombra e amar todas as partes minhas? Me tranquei e nego a minha força, sou uma Rainha do nada? As cartas trazem uma energia de autoaceitação, para me curar e evoluir eu preciso me reconhecer no espelho da alma. Adorei e recomendo como evolução pessoal.

This isn’t a light and fluffy, it’s beautiful, raw and brutally blunt. I bought this deck for shadow work and even though there are only 32 cards in the deck, it gets the job done, mercilessly. Exactly what I wanted.

I am so conflicted by these cards. They are deeply shadow aspect. I’m continuously doing shadow work so these have helped me gain deep insights into myself and where I need to do my work.
The material is very nice, it’s fairly easy to shuffle and the box is a nice storage.
I hope you read other languages. The author is obviously not English speaking and the book doesn’t really help provide much of any insight into interpretation. They certainly challenge my intuitive reading ability and make me connect more to myself due to this. I wish the creator/author/translator were able to properly translate the true intention of the cards to American English consumers.
Overall, I highly suggest these cards for shadow work if you are ready. Make sure you are truly ready to face the darkest parts of your shadow. They are no joke and when you see what Spirit is trying to show you about yourself, you may go through an array of emotions that may not help. But they are necessary to feel in order to heal the shadow parts.

An Oracle Deck will only give accurate answers to the extent you ask with deepest sincerity.
I certainly did ask with unflinching sincerity tonight and got an answer that perfectly reflected that – yes, the English Prose in the book is eccentric.
But it can’t be any other way- it speaks in the language of Oracular Truth.
And an Italian Deck will best convey that –

I am not typically drawn to “dark” divinity content; I am a light worker and I much prefer the beautiful and uplifting messages that other decks focus on and provide. With that said, I specifically turned to this deck because it wasn’t that, and because it was touted as being great for shadow work…as a human with a light AND dark side, I wanted something a bit deeper and more intense to assist in addressing my inner wounding and it does that. It answers honestly and and in ways that provide deep insight into your topic of choice, beyond self-reflection. I appreciate the deck’s versatility and approach to darker material. I will also say it is not at all as intimidating as some reviews led on, in fact they are almost comical now after receiving the deck. This deck isn’t part of some occult, which was also alluded to, and overall it just simply isn’t at all cutthroat, more insightful and intense in a less than ideal light. However, just a few drawbacks to mention: I am not personally drawn to the imagery AT ALL. And yes, while I did purchase it under full knowledge of the deck art, I feel now as an owner of the work that I can comment and review my feelings on it, which is that I don’t think just because a deck is darker in nature means the imagery needs to be something that rivals the cenobites from Hellraiser, but I digress. Aside from that, the glaring issue here as others have mentioned, is the heavy errors and grammar issues found throughout the guide book. To be clear, I don’t just mean misspellings. The book is written in choppy English, almost as if by a non-native speaker. While that is ok, the book’s writings should have been proofread by somebody at Lo Scarabeo before printing to prevent this. It is truly difficult at times to grasp the full message because of all the obstacles with the messages coming through clearly based on how they were written. All in all, I am still happy with the deck and as a collector of decks, it’s definitely a welcomed edition as something very, very different. Just be mindful it isn’t flawless and by any means the “perfect” deck.
