The first day I wore this I left my house and then went to Safeway. I got my items and was standing in line and looked down and the pendant was not on the chain. I thought “nooooooooo!”. I got out of line and backtracked my steps, no, paid for my items, scoured the parking lot where I parked, no, so got in the car and went to my sister’s. While unloading the car I found the pendant on the floor of the back seat. Yay! So when I got home I examined the pendant and you can see from the photo what I found. The pendant is lovely and if you get one examine the clip that you put the chain through. I probably could have given this 4 stars but it caused me a lot of time looking for it and I was cheesed off.

To begin, I didn’t follow directions of taking neckless off while showering: I did let it get wet. I wear it 24/7 and now the back metal is wearing off and is revealing a pink underlayer of color. I’ve been wearing it for a month.
The chain is not pretty but the price of pendant is low enough, I don’t mind replacing chain with better chain. The lobster claw fastener is hard to manipulate so for me, a larger clasp would be better. Chain metal doesn’t match shiny-ness of of pendant, chain looks dull and cheap but doesn’t bother my skin like cheap nickel does.
Otherwise, the Obsidian pendant is shiny, lightweight, I’ve gotten compliments on it. I’D def recommend but be sure to follow directions to protect the metal. In order to easily remove neckless, I’m looking for chain with better clasp.
