This organic and caffeine free Turmeric is great in quality with saturated golden yellow color and fresh aroma. First time having the root bits rather than powder, and was afraid it’ll take much longer time to brew but seemed my worry is no need. The color and flavor releases quickly as soon as the roots submerge into hot water. The tea tastes bold, earthy along with a hint of spicy. Highly recommended and would like to try more tea from ‘Worldwide Botanicls’.

The flavor is just what I hoped for: warm, earthy, and a little spicy, which is great for a natural tea. It has those peppery notes that really warm you up, and since it is naturally caffeine-free, I can enjoy it any time of day. I mostly drink it as a straight herbal tea, but it also makes a vibrant base if you are into making golden milk or other wellness blends. The fact that it is “tea cut” means it infuses really well, pulling out all that good flavor and color quickly.
I have been looking for something that offers natural wellness support, and turmeric is known for that. I like that this tea contains curcumin, which is a powerful antioxidant. I have heard it can help with things like joint health, digestion, and immunity, which are all areas I am interested in supporting. It is reassuring to know this turmeric is USDA certified organic, Non-GMO, Kosher, and gluten-free, and that it comes from farms focused on quality and sustainability. That attention to sourcing makes me feel good about what I am drinking.
Preparing this tea is super simple. Since it is tea cut, it infuses quickly, unlike some other roots I have tried that need boiling. I just steep a teaspoon or two for a few minutes, strain it, and it is ready. Sometimes I will add a bit of ginger or black pepper to enhance the taste and absorption, as suggested. The resealable pouch is also a nice touch, keeping it fresh. Overall, it is a high-quality turmeric tea that is easy to incorporate into my daily routine for its flavor and potential health benefits.

This turmeric tea is the best I’ve tried before It’s fresh, fragrant, and has a wonderful healthy turmeric taste and color (indicative of a high curcumin content). It is also ground much more finely than I was expecting. It’s close to the consistency of coarse ground coffee, meaning you really need a fine strainer (like a fresh press) to brew this tea. I personally like the finer grind, as it brews up much stronger and more quickly, but it’s worth noting. I have had ginger and turmeric tea in the past and typically the grind is much larger actual pieces, whereas this is closer to a powder.
All that said, it’s really great turmeric tea. It tastes and smells extremely fresh and aromatic, and I much prefer the way this brews up compared to using larger pieces of turmeric. With larger slices, you really can’t get a thorough infusion and I always feel like I’m wasting the herbs. But that is not a problem with this tea.
It’s certified organic, and I didn’t find any debris in the tea, so it seems very clean and high quality.
If you’re looking for top shelf turmeric tea, and you’re okay with coarse ground turmeric, then this is probably as good as it gets. I would definitely recommend it.

This organic turmeric tea is clearly high quality—the cut is perfect for a strong, even infusion, and it brews into a rich, golden tea that feels nourishing. I’ve been drinking it for its health benefits, and I do feel good about adding it to my routine. That said, I don’t love the flavor—it’s earthy and a bit strong for my taste—so it took me some time to get used to it. Mixing it with ginger or a little honey makes it much more enjoyable. Overall, it’s a great product if you’re after the wellness benefits of turmeric, just be ready for a bold, distinctive taste.

This Worldwide Botanicals Organic Turmeric Tea has a wonderful taste and has so many great health benefits. I love mixing it with other teas and spices, such as dandelion, chamomile, Ginger, cinnamon, Etc. The texture of the turmeric is ground in such a way that fix it a bit less easy to use than leaves and larger pieces. I have to use mesh tea bags in order not to get settlement at the bottom of my cup.
The tea comes nicely packaged, in a resealable bag, and you get a huge amount. The color and quality are exceptional, and there is only turmeric in the ingredients list. It is a wonderful turmeric tea and I would highly recommend it!

This is a 1-pound, huge bag of organic turmeric root. Don’t let the word “tea” fool you. I think most of us, when we think of tea, picture a fine powder, often in a teabag. Nope — this is actual ground-up root pieces with nothing else in it except turmeric. I actually find it very impressive quality.
Ironically, I’m not a huge fan of turmeric, and almost all teas or supplements seem to have piperine (pepper) added in. So for those of us who are sensitive to pepper, it can be hard to find a good source. This has nothing else added — it’s just pure organic turmeric root pieces.
Now for the tea part… I found this a bit tricky to make tea with. I followed the directions and let a teaspoon of the root steep directly in boiling water for three minutes, then strained it out with a fine mesh strainer into another cup. That didn’t work so well — I think it might’ve been better if I’d had a piece of cheesecloth or something. Regardless, I just let the pieces of turmeric that got through settle to the bottom a little bit, and then I was able to drink the tea. (It actually reminded me a little of the process you can use with yerba mate tea.)
For someone who doesn’t care for turmeric, I’ve gotta tell you — the taste was delicious. I don’t know if it’s because it’s a more pure, fresh form or because it just didn’t have anything else added.
I added nothing else into my tea — it was just straight turmeric — and it had a slightly peppery taste. I got this to help with my inflammation, so I’m really excited that I finally found a way to take turmeric that I can enjoy.
Based on my experiences with this tea, value considerations, and my rating system, this earns:
4 Stars – I Recommend! Performs or is as described. (Has minor non-impacting considerations such as value, sourcing, directions, etc.)
