This is an amazing product. I noticed how effective it was after only taking it for two days. It may not dissolve very well and yeah it clumps but I just pour it in with some orange juice and mix it with a spoon and drink immediately. It has no taste and the clumping doesn’t bother me. Honestly the fact that its so effective makes up for the clumping. I haven’t tried mixing it in with a smoothie but I think that would help dissolve it better. No negative side effects, easy to use, effective. I’m so glad I found this product.

I have been using this brand of psyllium husk since 2022 and it is excellent. One heaping teaspoon with 12-16 ounces of water in the morning and it does help to keep me regular. I use a 16 ounce plastic container with screw on lid that I usually fill with 12 ounces of water and then put the husk in and the art to getting it just right is to shake it about 28-30 times and then drink it all right away as it will thicken up quickly (pause) the longer you take to finish it.
I’m disappointed that Viva Naturals does not respond to messages because this sold out on their website, on Amazon, and on Walmart and the only place I can find it is on eBay and sellers are wanting up to $99 for a 24 ounce bag, that’s crazy. Has anyone found where else this can be purchased?

This is good stuff. As much as I have no real health or digestion issues, I had been reading about the health benefits of taking psyllium as a supplement and thought I would give it a try. I started small, as they suggest, mixing just one teaspoon a day into a drink. I stir It up good and drink it right away. I have actually noticed a positive difference in regularity. I’ve experienced no noticeable negative side effects.
If I have one complaint about this particular psyllium, it is that it doesn’t stir into a liquid very well. It tends to clump and stick to the sides of the glass quite a bit. I guess that may be a problem with any powder, but it seems pretty prevalent in this one.
All in all, though, a good product at a good price!

maybe 1 star is harsh bc my use case for this wasn’t a good one, but I followed the instructions on the bag. this is NOT a replacement for Metamucil.
I have been taking Metamucil for some time, and I decided to try this out as an alternative because I didn’t want the sugar or fake sugar of Metamucil. I figured it would probably taste nasty (it does), but I chug my Metamucil down quickly, so the flavor is not a huge factor for me. The problem is the consistency & utter inability to dissolve in water. I tried mixing it with water, but it immediately clumps up as soon as it touch the water. I also tried mixing a smaller amount of water at first, then adding more, but this was even worse; instead I had even larger clumps. chugging the clumps down is really gross. I imagine it’s the same feeling as chugging curdled milk. and, the bitter flavor doesn’t help.
maybe, there are good use cases for this. maybe, it works well if you add it to your oatmeal or baked goods as shown on the page. maybe it works well in hot drinks. but, I can 100% confirm that you should NOT use this if you intend on mixing it with cold or room temperature water (which the bag and info on the page says you can).
