I’m very pleased with my purchase. This Tulasi Mala comes with lab certification, a japa bag and a bonus Mukhi Rudraksha bead. The 5-Mukhi is legit. I ran all the tests, but I had been given a mala made up of these when I visited a monastery in Ithica, NY, so I knew it wasn’t a fake.
I will probably re-string it because I’m rough on things but it’s sturdy enough.
I thought of taking a star off for how roughly hewn the beads themselves were, but in the end I left it at five stars for two reasons: 1) It looks just like picture so I knew what I was getting. 2) Can’t beat the price.
And anyway, it defeats the purpose to make a show of your expensive, beautiful mala in public Anyway (:
I’m very happy and thought it was worth a review. With all the fake malas on Amazon, I wanted to photograph everything for potential buyers. You won’t do any better at this price point.

The only reason I bought these beads is because the webpage promised that they would decrease in size (that’s how I keep count) – but they were roughly the same all the way around…Came with a nice japa bag, though.
