This book explains step by step how to make our own home apothecary. The tips are super helpful and I didn’t feel overwhelmed by all the information- sometimes I don’t own where to start but this book broke it down. The herbal recipes are great with ingredients easily found….I particularly liked the way this book viewed herbal recipes as rituals of care to be enjoyed, not just recipes. I found it quite comforting that these are the recipes that our grandmothers and those before her might have used, handed down the generations and there is still a certain amount of power in that.
There is a wealth of information in this treasure trove of a book, from medicinal herbs and skin remedies to minor cuts and treating children. It also discusses sustainable herbalism and rituals, making herbal meads and wine and herbal gifts, e.g. bath bombs (which i think is a great idea).
I definitely recommend this book to anyone thinking about incorporating herbalism into their life, the knowledge inside this book is invaluable

The kind of knowledge shared in this book is becoming more and more important, especially in the West, as there is so much work put in by the dark side to keep us away from the basic truths of the earth.
It is really great to see that we are at a time where this knowledge will not be put down as wives’ tales or witchcraft or anything but the pure health that it is.
Thank you for helping spread this information

I am new to this herbal stuff and have been a skeptic for some time, but have been persuaded to give it a try. To me this book give a very good entry level on the basics of the most common herbs, what they are used for and how to cook with them for whatever use. Works for me and will keep it on my counter for a long time.
