Bestselling author Michael V. Ivanov delivers a profound and unforgettable tale of loss, love, faith, and redemption. In this captivating novel, the lives of two strangers collide in a heavenly realm, where an unexpected reunion reshapes their journeys and reveals the power of grace and connection.
As a guide, Luke has helped countless new arrivals journey from the old train station in the valley to the city beyond, in a strange and wondrous land. Once a new arrival himself, he aids visitors in healing old wounds and confronting life’s greatest mysteries while awaiting a long-lost friend. When an elderly woman named Anna arrives, familiar yet unknown, Luke embarks on what will be his final journey as a guide, unaware of the profound connection about to unfold. The Ones We Wait For is a novel about loss, love, faith, and heaven.

I cannot say enough about this delightful book! The characters are well developed, and the scenery is easy to imagine. We are first introduced to Anna through Luke, her guide. And from there, we are all taken through a new experience. One that will show us how life can be one day if only we…well,.. read it. Enjoy and learn for yourself what this novel is about. It’s heart-warming. I plan to read all of Michael V Ivanov’s books now.

This was a quick read and I enjoyed it a lot. These are the types of books I like to read since I don’t have much time to read something with hundreds of pages. It was a sweet and sad story rolled into one entertaining novel that kept you wanting to hurry up and get to the end.
THOMAS ZULEGER –
It was just okay. I guess I expected something else but I enjoyed reading it. I guess it was just too fictional for me.

A great read, kind of gives you hope in the afterlife. A very touching, fast read as curiosity happens in every chapter. A great read for those who have lost someone or just needs that fulfillment of heaven existing.
Loved it as I might read again in the future!

This is another book I found regarding dealing with loss of a loved one and how to cope, change and grow as we struggle to move forward. Life goes on no matter the life circumstance. This book includes messages of comfort in how to cope. I did learn a number of things from reading this book and I highly recommend it.

This was a good book. We all cannot wait to see our loved ones on the other side. Has some discussion of religion in it. I am not a religious person, and the religion parts did not bother me.

I found this book fascinating and comforting. Everything I feel heaven will be like. Michael, the author must have a very special, intuitive relationship with God.

I expected this to be a a boy meets girl tale. I didn’t know what to think at first. This is such a thought provoking story. It seems to answer so many questions about our lives and perhaps our souls. I wish everyone would read this to understand what we should think about what death should be like. I am so hopeful for my life and beyond.

There was absolutely nothing that I did not love about this story. It will open your heart and soul to absolute certainty that you are loved and accepted. If I could have I would have given it way more than 5 stars. Thank you Michael Ivanov and abundant blessings.

I received this book a couple days ago. I started reading it right away. I am not usually a reader as my mind wanders too much. But I could not put this book down. I read it all in one day. It is based on descriptions that are in the Bible. The story was so real to me based on my beliefs.
Lisa G. Wade –
The book is really good read but the pages are falling out of the book. Very disappointing that I have to glue them back in to be able to read it.

The blend of imagination and scripture in this story will either deeply move you or frustrate you. Life does that too. The thing to hold onto is that scripture is all about how God speaks to us and how we respond to Him. This book isn’t for everyone, but if it is for you, you will cherish it. If it’s not for you, you may still see something of value about life and how we live it. Personally, I very deeply cherish it. I enjoyed every word of it as a well told tale and as good food for thought and contemplation.
Finish the story ( it’s not a terribly long read) before you judge it. See for yourself and decide, but please don’t miss it. Please give it a chance. I’m profoundly grateful that I did.

An amazing story, still within the boundary of scripture. Full of the promises, to remind you that we really don’t know what’s on the other side but how to get there to find out!!!!!

I wondered how Mr. Ivanov would develop this story. He did not disappoint. Hard to put down once I had read several pages. It has inspired me to try writing.
