Ever have a dream that you think might be from God? It is!!! Our Heavenly Father enjoys communicating with us through dreams and visions. I don’t want to miss what my Lord has to say!
The Divinity Code to Understanding Your Dreams and Visions teaches us that men of God in the bible days were taught through dreams; and they held their dreams in high regard.
Read this book and learn how to interpret the hidden truths of our dreams. The solid Bible based teaching is a wonderful foundation to begin learning this way of hearing from God. The teaching is rich and will feed both the new dreamer and the experienced dreamer. I actually didn’t want the teaching to end.
The authors have included many dreams and also interpretations to those dreams. I found this section of the book instructive, encouraging, and very intriguing.
There is also an indepth Metaphor Dictionary where you can look up key components of your own dreams to find a likely meaning. These are presented with Bible references to support their meanings. I love that feature.
The names of people and places are key in understanding our dreams and there is an awesome Dictionary included for that aspect as well.
I love this book!!! Love it! Love it! Love it! I was given an e-book copy and appreciate having it with me on my Kindle at all times. However, I chose to also purchase the paperback version in addition to my e-book version. Using the dictionaries in the paperback book is much less cumbersome than the electronic version.
To summarize…buy the book, read it, use it. You will have opened a new window to communicating with your Lord!
The publisher has provided me with a complimentary e-copy of this book in exchange for an honest review of the book.

I have been blown away by what this booked has helped me unlock and understand and how it now gives God an opportunity to truly teach and speak into my life. My dreams have gone from being just another weird, confusing dream to leaving me gob smacked by what I am seeing and understanding. It’s not always clear at first but journaling has really helped me. I am even able to identify the things in my life that the devil is using to hold me back and where the enemy tries to steal from me. Again Journalling has helped me identify this, with often different dreams having a similar meaning. Without this book I would have never understood this and now I have been able to take these things to God that have been serious strongholds over my life for far too long! God is so Good! He truly does speak in parables and this has now stirred up a passion in me to draw closer to him daily and through prayer and taking what I dream to a God he offers me understanding, guidance and how I can step forward and come into agreement with the promises God has for my life, my family, my church. Thank you for your step by step teaching in this book. This has changed my life! x

The Divinity Code to Understanding Your Dreams and Visions is an excellent tool to use for developing in dreams and visions according to the Word of God. I’d recommend this to anyone learning how to flow in the prophetic; developing their ability to decipher dreams and visions. It does not apply a specific formula but guides you along the path of understanding while warning you on how to avoid common pitfalls. I love how the writings in the beginning of the book pull on the entirety of the Word of God pulling from the Old Testament to the New Testament and revealing Christ in every truth unfolded therein. There are several beautiful parallels pointed out which sealed some things I already know with the Word on multiple levels to bring them to live on a greater dimension. The dictionaries in the back of the book are helpful in developing an understanding of your dream language. I think they are a great starting point. I love the fact that they have included scriptural references for the entries so that it is clear the definitions are not just pulled out of secular interpretations, but based on the Word of God. Great book. A must have reference tool!

I was a bit sceptical to start with but a chain of events led me to wanting to know more about dreams. I am all for finding out for myself so after reading some reviews, purchased this book. Glad I bought it. The authors offer a very clear explanation of the way dreams work, and I have already been able to interpret some dreams I’ve had. If nothing else, they do seem to reveal what’s in our heart, and that is very useful in itself. I feel that I will continue using this book. If you are interested in understanding your dreams, this is a good place to start.

The adjectives in my title are some of the best descripts I can give this book. If you are interested at all in pursuing understanding dreams and their interpretations or interpreting them (for yourself or others), this book is a must!
I myself became heavily interested in this topic, when at a point of suicide, I had a very very vivid and intense dream that led me down a path of inquiry and questioning… which ultimately resulted in a series of events that prevented my suicide and taking my own life. This was the origin of my journey (6 years ago) into pursuing understanding dreams and what they were all about or how to understand them.
Since then I have thrown myself at this topic quite extensively. Right now I have a library of at least half-dozen books or more on this topic on my bookshelf. I’ve diligently journaled my own dreams without fail for the last 5+ years. I’ve taken various courses/seminars/classes and so forth… etc. etc. and even helped others by interpreting their own dreams on occasion (when I’ve been graced with the wisdom and insight to understand them).
Bottom line, this is the best one-stop-shop resource I have discovered in my journey so far, and in my opinion an absolutely critical, necessary resource if you are going to tackle this topic with even the slightest pretense of taking dreams seriously and understanding them. It’s by far the one book I’ve used most. And, perhaps the greatest thing about it is not just that is has the most extensive metaphor concordance I’ve seen (BY FAR) that I’m always referring to, but also, the whole first section of the book lays down key concepts and principles in practical, well written, concise manner. So that even if this book was the first one you got in your venture of exploring this topic, it would still be the perfect book to get to start your journey!
I can’t say enough good about it, it’s really been a goldmine of a find, amongst many other mediocre, average, and somewhat-above-average books on the topic. There’s no wasted words in this book: it’s clearly written, well-organized, concise, practical, and loaded with useful content.
On a final note, I’ll say that if you’re familiar with such figures as: Bill Johnson, Rick Joyner, Lance Wallnau, Darren Wilson, John Paul Jackson, Doug Addison, Josh Mills, Patricia King, Jason Westerfield, John Crowder, Ryan Pena etc…. and these types of figures (I’m familiar with all of them), you’ll probably agree with most of the core-values and biblical understandings that these authors are operating from and on. (As matter of fact, John Paul Jackson has some of the best guidance/teaching in this topic-matter to-date I think, but he has no written materials available unfortunately, it’s all audio, and more immersive classes/courses, which I’ve taken as well).
Hope this helps for anyone trying to make a decision.($20 for this great resource is a steal in my opinion!)
Prosperity to you in your journey of unraveling the mystery of dreams! Blessings.

This is book is worth the investment in your spiritual and physical life and growth. As a dream dictionary alone, it’s clutch. But really really don’t neglect to read the chapters before that—they are life changing and scriptural teachings from the throne on dreams yes but on much much more. Then the many examples and interpretations may awaken in you a gift of revelation and sight and a thirst for Him and His communication and to walk in your giftings. Just saying what good return for twenty bones.

I’m reviewing the book “The Divinity Code”. I find it quite useful, both the general instruction section and the large dctionary section. The dictionary offers quite a few examples and various possible meanings of the dream images with biblical references of these definitions where applicable or at least possible applications deduced from the biblical type examples. One must always rely on God first for the explanation of a dream, and one’s own impressions, experiences and feelings should always be considered first in any interpretation. For example, I couldn’t find “Volkswagon” in there, and automobile was only partially helpful, so I had to rely on my own experience with a Volkswagon which then gave meaning to that particular vehicle in the dream. The beginning of the book explains this process well. This book can’t be used in a cut and paste, one size fits all manner.
Not all images in a dream will agree with the definitions given in this book, since a symbol may have a different significance for us than that of the authors.
Another problem, sometimes time consuming, is the different terms used by Australian people for some common terms an American will use. For example, elevator is not defined and you are directed over to the word “lift “. Sometimes I wonder if what I am looking for and can’t find is actually there but listed under a different word.
Also some of my dreams have symbols which aren’t found in the book. For example, one dream had a large playing card of the 10 of Clubs. I couldn’t find clubs listed, just definitions related to playing cards which have nothing to do with the context of my dream or my own experience, so I had to search on line for the meanings of the suits of playing cards. A few days later the Lord revealed the meaning of the symbol as it related to the rest of the dream.
Obviously, no book would be able to list all symbols one gets in a dream, but this book does a very good job getting most of them in. I refer to it after I write down my dreams and the impressions I get from the holy Spirit first. More often than not, the definitions in the book will corroborate what I initially came up with and lots of times there are some very insightful revelations of what my dreams are telling me which is what I consider the real value of this book.
When there seems to be no correlation between the events in the dream and what I found in the book, I just wait for the meaning to come some time in the future, as it did in my example of the 10 of clubs.
The section on sample dreams and their interpretations sometimes seem a bit perplexing and even far-fetched, but only go to reinforce the concept that each dream and its interpretation have to be interpreted based on what is happening in the dreamer’s life at the time. Also, the authors have considerably more experience interpreting dreams than I do, so I defer to their experience.
A beginner in interpreting their dreams should be cautious in using this book to interpret other people’s dreams as this is a very personal and complicated area of communication with God, and is therefore not to be taken lightly.

From the first page this book was exciting. You can tell it was written by someone with the secrets of the kingdome, you have to have the holy spirit for understanding spiritual truths.

I bought this book on recommendation of a friend and I am very glad I did. I have also read most of Ira Milligan’s dream book and Barbie Brethit’s book (which are both good) but I find this book much more comprehensive. The book is very well laid out and provides a very thorough foundation for dreams from the Bible. Everything they write is very biblical based and I gained much new insight from it. The dream “dictionary” at the back is also the most exhaustive I’ve encountered. I have it on the Kindle and use the “search” feature to look up symbols. Above all they stress in the book that in order to interpret our dreams correctly we must be intimately close with Jesus and able to hear from the Holy Spirit. I liked that emphasis as people can at times get so focussed on the dream that we forget the dream giver. The dreams are a part of God’s communication with us and are important part of that relationship. Love this book. I’ve used it a ton already and recommended to many friends. If I had one tiny critique I would say that the name “Divinity Code” maybe cheapens it a bit or misleads as to how impactful and scripturally based this book is? Not that we can’t have “cool” names but most people when I tell them the name of the book they kind of raise their eyebrows and look a little skeptical 🙂
