Opal is my birthstone and my favorite stone, and as much as I like natural opals I still appreciate the beauty of lab opals as well as their enhanced durability. Natural opals are quite delicate, and lab ones are better suited for more frequent wear.
I chose the green option of this necklace to compliment a bright green shawl that I’m knitting, and the stone is exactly as pictured. The green is vibrant and has lots of glittery flecks of color ranging from yellows to blues depending on the light and angle, and it’s gorgeous in person.
The pendant matches the dimensions given, and the size is nice to be noticed without being gaudy looking. The stone is of average thickness, and the pendant has enough weight to stay in place on the chain while worn without feeling heavy.
I like that the chain is a box style, it looks more refined than the typical cable chains that seem more like an afterthought to put the pendant onto than part of a necklace’s presentation and style. The box chain doesn’t catch on hairs, doesn’t tangle easily, and the size compliments the pendant quite well.
This pendant is clearly marked with the sterling hallmark on the back of the bezel, and the stone seems securely set. The chain is also marked as sterling on the clasp, but the bail is not. The setting, bail, and chain all do appear to be sterling, and this necklace has not caused my metal-sensitive skin any irritations through the constant wearing of it for over a week.
I am quite happy with this opal necklace, it’s exactly as pictured, it’s a reasonable value if this style suits your preferences, it’s as described, and it looks great on me!

I got this blue opal necklace for my partner as a gift. While she did appreciate it, she didn’t quite find the blue colouration to be her ideal blue.
Compared to the product listing’s photos, the blue in the play of colour is not as deep and there’s a lot more aqua-green than expected. She really prefers the darker, ocean blue tones that’s shown in the product photos. We observed it in various lighting (natural outdoors, interior white, interior warm) to make sure it wasn’t just a particular environment causing the abundance of aqua-green, but unfortunately it was the same case regardless of the lighting.
As for the chain, it’s lightweight but feels solid. It’s got a nice luster and feels like 925 sterling silver. She didn’t have any troubles putting it on herself, although it still is much easier to have someone put on the necklace for you. It hasn’t yet irritated her skin whenever she’s worn it.
I measured and the dimensions were as advertised. As for the size of the opal itself which isn’t explicitly listed, I measured it to be about 12 mm long x 9 mm wide.
The included case is okay. It has no problems opening and closing, staying shut, but the outer wrapping is rather flimsy and already peeling off.
If you don’t mind aqua-green in your blue, then this could still make a decent gift, but if you want deep ocean blues then look elsewhere.

The stone sits well on it’s teardrop frame and feels securely set. The frame is silver and looks like it has thickness to it.
The silver is nice and can be polished with a micro fiber cloth.
This a soft pink color and it looks very pretty in the sun. It is bigger than I expected but that doesn’t take anything away from it at all.
The chain is dainty and the clasp is small, both look quality and with gentle use should last long. I haven’t experienced tarnishing so far, I haven’t worn it in water so I can’t speak on that.

This pendant is stunning. I love the coloring. I got the pink opal one and it’s super cute and it has a really nice shine into it. However, I really don’t like the chain. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s so smooth or something about how it’s weighted, but it constantly flips around so that the clasp is in the front, which is super annoying. I wear another pendant every day, which has a more textured chain, and don’t have this issue.
It comes (almost) ready to gift, with a beautiful and premium quality box. However, it is packaged with the chain and pendant separate, so if you’re planning on gifting it to someone, I would recommend opening it up to remove the excess packaging and put the pieces together yourself, so it looks more impressive when they open the box.

This is a gorgeous lab-created opal pendant with a really nice sparkle to it. The colour play catches the light well and gives it that classic opal look.
Where I was a bit disappointed is the size. The photos make it appear quite a bit larger than it actually is. While the measurements are technically listed, the images and real-life scale don’t quite line up, and I was expecting something closer to twice the size.
That said, I do appreciate that the listing is clear about this being a lab-created opal rather than trying to pass it off as natural. Overall, it’s a pretty piece, just be mindful of the actual dimensions before purchasing.
