Beautifully thought out and illustrated if they were on big enough cards to actually see the tiny images to the right and left of the main image. Really wish these were bigger cards, I would have kept them, but being so “busy” on this size of card they are just no good so unfortunately are being returned.

I disagree with those who say this is an AI generated deck. The creator is a well established artist and specializes in collage art. I highly doubt he would risk his artistic career by using AI.
That being said, when I ordered this deck I was sure I would love it. After I received it, I was sure I didn’t like it at all because its too much of a good thing going on. I love the fancy flower borders, I love the vintage collage pictures contained within it. But put it all together and its just too much going on if using 3 or more cards… But I wasn’t ready to give it up yet. So I started pairing it with other decks. There were 2 decks I highly recommend to use with this deck – Influence of Angels Tarot and Touchstone Tarot. I pick a card from one of those decks and then pick 2 cards from the Divinatorium Tarot and place them to the left and right of the other card for a total of 3 cards. The Divinatorium cards very nicely frame the middle card, especially if it’s the Touchstone tarot as those cards tend to be a bit plain to look at. But framed by the Divinatorium it really brings the Touchstone portraits to life! In discovering this perfect pairing, I have a new-found appreciation for both decks as they truly bring out the best in each other. The reason for 4 stars is because the Divinatorium deck is too busy for me to use on its own.

Tarot Divinatorium is a stellar tarot deck in terms of imagery, quality, depth, beauty, this publishers decks are always reliable, always inventive, unique, original & this one is that and more, it has a beautiful two-piece medium-sized rigid box, beautiful smooth (not sharp) gold gilding, light as a feather easy to shuffle cardstock, the imagery is bright, bold, busy, bombastic but totally captivating, the color-alignment with each suit is always a great idea in tarot that make the cards suits pop immediately in a spread, this is a classy, elegant, high-quality deck, that is quite special.

Le Tarot Divinatorium d’André Sanchez est absolument sublime : les illustrations et le graphisme sont d’une beauté remarquable, un vrai coup de cœur visuel ✨ Cependant, je reste un peu mitigée sur la qualité des cartes. Elles sont assez souples et manquent de rigidité, ce qui les rend moins agréables à manipuler lors des tirages. C’est vraiment dommage, car avec un tel travail artistique, une qualité de cartes plus robuste aurait rendu ce jeu absolument parfait.

Package was entirely ripped open where the contents where on the floor and the doorbell did not ring at all I was home all day. Left at the back entrance where people could have stolen the parcel. Good product very crappy delivery !!!!

I just found out that this deck uses AI. Nothing in the item description or the guidebook mentions it. I think the deck is gorgeous, and I know it uses classic art that is in the public domain, so I am not as disturbed at the lack of transparency as I might otherwise have been. As an artist, I prefer not to purchase AI generated art, so I carefully look at the description and the artist description. The fact that Rockpool did not disclose that it was AI and the artist description just says that they are a digital artist is the reason for the two stars. I’m going to be very wary of purchasing anything from Rockpool from now on.

One of the most beautiful decks ever made. The tiny inset pictures are hard to see, but they give you the painting information in the description, so you can check out the original work. Pairs beautifully with several of my other decks, as well.

I am conflicted. I want to love this deck for so many reasons. The artwork is stunning. The guidebook is thoughtfully written. The concept of a vignette illustrating two different aspects of each card is a unique touch. However, I need a magnifying lens to get a good look at each main image. In many cases I couldn’t make out what was happening in the two side images even with help of a magnifying glass. The guidebook describes the scene and cites the painting, but wouldn’t it be nice to be able to see and appreciate these masterpieces.
Hopefully this deck will be republished with better formatting and on larger cards so these beautiful images can be better appreciated.

Not my favourite. Cards are too small for the type of a design. I can hardly see the meaning of the cards. Colours look the same too. Nothing stands out. I used it once and put it away.

Tarocchi bellissimi, rifiniti in maniera eccellente! Libro molto esaustivo in lingua inglese che spiega anche il dritto e il rovescio delle vignette laterali agli arcani. Peccato solo che le immagini siano troppo concentrate facendo risultare il tutto un po’ piccolo e difficile da leggere nel dettaglio, perché sono veramente da studiare!

I’ve really enjoyed working with Tarot Divinatorium so far. The artwork is absolutely gorgeous and feels like walking through a gallery of classical paintings mixed with ornate collage art. I especially liked how layered and symbolic the cards feel.
The guidebook adds a lot of depth, especially with the positive and negative vignette sections. If you enjoy visually rich decks with a more reflective reading style, I think this one is worth checking out.

I’m a digital artist who makes art a great deal like this without the single use of AI in any way. Just a vast collection of bits and bobs and photoshop. IT IS INCREDIBLY AWFUL to accuse artists of this when making this kind of art without AI is something that’s been happening since photoshop was first released. This is an excellent deck. Do not believe the bad reviews. This is a well established digital collage artist and the deck is GORGEOUS. I say this as an anti AI art person. Please stop hurting other people’s work with your little hunches.
