As far as I know these came up but I started a self heal garden area last year with a few plants I had and I sprinkled those dry seeds too and I have self-heal, prunella valgaris every where in that protected area. This is a very medicinal herbs for tinctures or salves you cannot buy dry anywhere that I have found, it’s always out of stock so I now grow, harvest and tincture my own.

Great germination!!! These are Northern seeds, and they do germinate well if frozen for 2 weeks. I wet a paper towel, spread seeds over 1/2, then fold the other 1/2 over the seeds (seed sandwich). Put them in a zip baggie and stick them in the freezer for 2 weeks. Take them out, open the bag, gently run water over the towel still in the bag, tip the bag to drain, leave on the counter with the bag open. Water this way daily and almost every seed will sprout in a week or two. Then I open the towel and set it on soil in a starter tray with a clear lid, in a sunny window. Let them grow. When they get their second leaves take the lid off and carefully plant in 3-4 inch pots. When they are ready, plant outdoors. Easy peasy. I’ve got a morning sun bed just waiting for them, very very happy 😀

Seeds sprouted quickly and filled in a bare spot completely. They have become some of my healthiest, most vigerous plants. While they are a useful herb, they are also very pretty. Their little purple flowers are always on display now. Definitely a great quality and value. Would recommend seller and product.
