Its bright yellow flowers mature into a puffy seed head that kids love to blow. Known for its culinary and medicinal uses, Dandelion is edible from root to tip. It’s also a favorite of all sorts of pollinators. Minimum of 500 mg per packet (about 725 seeds).
- Productive – Dandelion germinates in 10-14 days when soil temps are 50-70°F. Plant 1/8” deep and space 6-8” apart in an area with full sun. This variety will grow 2-20” tall with a spread of 6-10”. Flowers will mature in 85-95 days, plant in USDA zones 2-11.

These seeds were so fresh. they were germinating like crazy — in water, in soil, all they needed was the smallest amount of light. They are growing so strong and so fast, looking forward to seeing the seedlings continue to flourish!

This easily grows in pots in Hawaii just like it used to grow wild on the lawn back in New York. Delicious and perfect for all my favorite childhood Sicilian recipes. Slightly bitter and slightly tough. Exactly how dandelion supposed to be. Eat the flowers leaves stems and all. Delicious. Love it.

Sow Right Seeds had always been good to me, but these seeds never germinated, and it may because Florida is suffering extreme heat and drought.
In any case, I will continue ordering from Sow Right when our drought is over.
Dandelions probably do not like Florida.
