This is a decently nut milk bag that can also be used for making cheese as it is similar to cheesecloth. All of these are kind of similar as there isn’t much to them. Their longevity is what matters the most though: can they be cleaned easily without tearing and making larger holes by accident, will stains come out, etc. This one seemed to clean just fine when we used it, but we only have used it once so far. We’ll see how many uses you get out of these, but honestly at just a couple bucks per bag if it only lasts a couple times it is still worth it. This bag is pretty large though, so get if you are needing a large 12×14 inch bag.

If there is one thing you need to know about me, it’s that I am a tea fiend. I drink so much tea that it’s easier to make a big batch of loose leaf rather than brew by the cup. These bags are perfect for making a large pot of my favorite teas with no issues spooning the leaves, spices, and fruit pieces into the bags prior to brewing. To be honest, I don’t feel a need to fully wash these since the tea rinses right out, but if I were to start using these for pressing water out of cauliflower or something similar, I imagine that they would wash very easily.

This bag works as described with no surprise benefits or drawbacks, so I am providing it with a 3 star rating as such. I do like that it is listed as BPA free as well, but due to its composition I would not recommend it for hot/warm liquids due to it being synthetic.
I’ve used it a few times and no tears or rips in it so far, and although I had the privilege of ordering this item for review, the price has since jumped and I think that if I needed another set of bags I would probably do a little price comparison first.

I use this bag for making cold brew coffee, and it is really nice. If you have ever had a super luxe cup of tea, it’s a similar material as those tea bags but on a bigger scale. I have made my own cheese in the past and I feel like this bag would also work well for that as well. It’s a fine nylon that feels durable if somewhat stiff. With use, it might get more flexible but it really does not impact the function. I use a fine grind on my cold brew, and this bag strains out the sludge nicely while preserving the taste that is in some of the oils in the coffee. Washing the bag is easy enough considering the fact that cold brewing coffee is messy by definition. I empty the grounds from the bag, turn it inside out, rinse it, and then wash it thoroughly submerging in a wash basin.

I’ve used this bag for its intended purpose, making nut milk, as well as making homemade tofu and cheese, and it’s performed well for each use. I just turn it inside out and hand-wash it with a spoonful of dishwasher granules in very large bowl and after a few rinses it’s like new.
Not sure what else to say, here, it just works and it seems to be made well.

I used this thinking it was going to get stained with beets and ginger and turmeric but surprisingly I just rinsed it with water and it came right off ! Definitely amazing it was a great purchase these work amazing ! And the price is good too !

Lotsa room to strain the nut milk through this bag. There’s no issues at all with how it functions at this task – easy to figure out! Cleanup and reuse over and over.

We often strain the milk to use the solids in the milk to use as home made Indian cheese, Paneer. the cloth is easy to use and better than the other methods we are using. The other use for this is for making your own cheese spreads. Easy to wash and reuse these are great products. Worth the price.
