THIS… Is Rainbow Lights super yohimbe extract, delivered with a tincture dropper. Using this for the first time was fantastic, I just dropped the yohimbe straight into my mouth and didn’t find that the flavor was too strong to take it straight. Once I took it, I also didn’t find any adverse effects such as an upset stomach or headache. I found that it started taking effect in around 30 minutes with a noticeable energy uptick before working out. I did notice a mild appetite suppression, though, I enjoy the uptick in energy. Overall, this is a high quality supplement of yohimbe that doesn’t taste or smell disgusting.

Unfortunately, Rainbow Light is not telling us the extraction ratio. Nor how many milligrams of the extract is contained within the glycerite. hoping they will add that at some point.
I have been wanting to try Yohimbe for many years now. I saw this alcohol-free extract and used Rainbow Light children’s supplements over 20 years ago, remembered them being a stellar company, so I ordered this.
The serving size is 2 mL, with one full squeeze of the dropper being 1 mL. It is kind of hard to see the writing on the dropper, but it is there. It is a very dark liquid
I went ahead and took 1mL to try it out. The suggested Usage is to add it to a small amount of water. I dropped it straight into my mouth. The glycerin makes it sweet at first, followed by a slight bitterness. Not altogether unpleasant.
I suggest anybody anybody research this & all supplements & herbs before taking.
I have included a scientific write up on the alkaloids contained within Yohimbe:
“Yohimbine, the main chemical in Yohimbe, is an antagonist of 2-adrenergic receptors, which are inhibitory G protein-coupled receptors located in the peripheral tissues and the central nervous system (CNS). Norepinephrine, a neurotransmitter in charge of controlling blood pressure, heart rate, and the fight-or-flight response, is released because of this antagonistic relationship. Yohimbine boosts the body’s alertness and vitality by raising norepinephrine levels, encouraging vasodilation, and increasing blood flow.
Yohimbine also has a minor inhibitory effect on the monoamine oxidase (MAO) enzyme in the brain, which breaks down neurotransmitters like dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin. Yohimbine is said to have stimulant, aphrodisiac, and antidepressant properties. This inhibition can lead to higher amounts of certain neurotransmitters in the brain, which may be a factor in these effects.”

Update: After less than 2 weeks, the dropper rapidly went from pretty functional to semi-functional to not functional at all.
My expectations are never too high when it comes to natural supplements, but I’m always willing to try. It surprises how often people review supplements, either touting their efficacy or berating the lack thereof, as if there were some objective result that you could look at and say I took these pills or capsules or whatever and now I’m 10 inches taller or I have a full head of hair when last week I was bald. But they do. I don’t. The key really is the word itself – “supplement.” These are not medication or magic beans, not this supplement nor any other. So, I try them and I hope that maybe they’ll help, hope they won’t make things worse, but I’m never sure if this is the cause of anything, good or bad, when it is such a small part of the equation, which also, for me and everyone, includes other supplements, meds, when, what, how you eat, sleep, stress, exercise, even weather and interpersonal relationships and myriad other things.
One thing I love is that the eyedropper includes indications as to mL, so that it’s easy to know how much to take, and it seems to be a better than average quality dropper. Whether taking it will improve my health or not,, at this price, I might buy more when I run out.

As with all supplements that I review, I don’t know if it worked. Couldn’t tell you. I don’t think I’ve ever taken a supplement and thought, “Wow! That”s the juice, right there!” So, I review mainly on safety and side effects, because I have had side effects where I thought, “Wow! I don’t know if all the ingredients were listed! WoW!”
This, however, benevolently uneventful for me. No headaches, cramps, digestive issues, flushed skin, hives or any other allergic reaction, and it has a so-so taste. I imagine that it tastes exactly like the extract of Yohimbe, because that’s what it is. So, picture in your mind’s mouth-eye, if you can, and earthy, kinda sweet, root or other plant matter. Bingo.
I may have felt some energy and increased focus. Unsure. But, I didn’t die. So, that my friend, says to me, that this product is A.O.K. *Smile and wink*
Also, there are some disclaimers about Yohimbe and people having sensitivities to it. So, make yourself aware. Another use for Yohimbe is for erectile dysfunction, I found out. So, there ya go, folks!

After a couple of uses, I noticed that this was giving me migraines. In reading about this stuff online, there are such other side effects which can be caused by this stuff as well. It appears the side effects really outweigh the alleged benefits. I tried it. It failed.

After taking this extract, I have been pleasantly surprised at the effects. I do not get a spike of energy nor have I experienced any discomfort or side effects. Instead, after about 30 minutes I feel a small but steady energy that takes me through my workout. I am usually a coffee and breakfast before life starts kind of girl but I had read that carbs can impact the absorption so the very first time I took this extract I abstained from everything. I worked out on an empty stomach and for the first time probably ever, I did not feel like I needed the caffeine to help me get through my morning workout.
In terms of taste, it is pretty mild and does not bother me. I do mix it with a little water and just drink it.
All in all, I feel like Super Yohimbe has been helpful in my morning workouts and does not leave me with any negative side effects.
