This anklet is absolutely beautiful and quickly became one of my favorite pieces of jewelry to wear on vacation. I’ve been searching for a dainty ankle bracelet for a while now so when I saw I this one I thought it’d be perfect for me, and couldn’t have been more right. It’s exactly what I’ve been wanting, small yet still elegant with the glamor of a opal. The opal really sparkles when it catches the light, at a distance you might thinknits a diamond but once you look a tad closer there’s no mistaking it for a white opal. I have to wear mine a bit on the small side so there’s a decent amount of chain left dangling past the clasp which I don’t mind at all, others it might tickle them. I plan to wear mine 24/7 so hopefully it doesn’t tarnish any but if it does I’ll make sure to come back and add that to this review in case that’s something you wouldn’t want to happen to you, I personally don’t mind when the metal develops a patina over time

Pretty anklet. I do have thicker ankles and still had a bit of room left on this to make it looser. Total length is around 10″. The charm on the ankle is cloudy dark green with iridescent red flecks in it. It’s kind of hard to see the color and variation unless it’s in the light. The gold plating is more of a warmer gold tone. It seems well-made, and I didn’t have any issues with it breaking or leaving marks on my skin during all-day wear. It is lightweight. Overall, a decent anklet.

Note the word “Dainty” in the description. I didn’t really think much about it, but yes, this ankle bracelet is on a very fine chain, and the pendant is very small. It does catch they eye, especially in sunlight, but the size of it makes it easy to miss. In particular, if someone has larger ankles or feet.
There is one advantage to the size, which is weight. For those who find an ankle bracelet distracting due to the weight while walking, this is so light it’s easy to forget it’s even on.
Just be sure you understand that this is going to be a very subtle decoration rather than one that really draws attention.

This anklet contains a beautiful opal on a gold plated chain. The gemstone is very colorful and more impressive than we expected. If it is not a genuine opal (I have no way to test it), then it still looks very iridescent and fiery. I think it looks better in person than it did in the seller’s photos, which is rare and usually the other way around. It is lightweight and fits my wife’s ankle well. The chain and clasp seem strong and well-made. The seller claims the opal is waterproof, but we did not test that claim. We hope it is true as the stone really looks great, and we would be sad to see it damaged. For a price under $20, it is a surprisingly great value for such a pretty piece of jewelry.
