It worked from the very first time I used it. I have experienced a terrible loss in my life and my nerves were bad and a feeling of despair. I took this herb from my Godsons advice for his doctor recommended it to him. It gave me a clam collected feeling and I use up to 3 -4 in 24hrs. It works and makes me feel as though I am on medication, without all the side effects. I would diffidently try this for a few weeks before taking anti-depressants with the horrible side effects and the dependency. All I can tell you is that it worked for me, and I’m so happy that I found it. When I ran out, it took a few days for me to feel the difference in mood, and I couldn’t wait for it to come again in the mail. I will be taking this as long as I need to. NO SIDE EFFECTS BUT A FEELING OF CALMNESS AND SERENITY. I love it. I would highly recommend this for any one who is considering anti-depressants. Please try this first, I believe this will be your answer. At night I take this and 1000Mg of L-Tryptophan and It knocks me out every time.

I had used a pricier brand in the past and decided to try NOW brand this time. I love NOW products, but thought pricer Holy Basil was best …I was WRONG….this Holy Basil works much better than expensive brand! As a teacher, I feel more calm and less rattled by stress. I like these, but they can give me indigestion at times. I always find that the Now Foods brands have good supplement at a fair price.

This product came really quick, ahead of its shipping time which was great! The price is fantastic for 500 mg of Holy Basil. The product does have a calming effect on me, and when combined with L-Theanine, it works like a charm for stress and relaxation. I have noticed that I am sleeping more deeply at night when I take both, and stay asleep all night instead of waking up 6 or 7 times, I only wake up once or twice to go to the bathroom. It is a very good product and I can feel the effects of the Basil in an hour of taking it!
