I really like the idea of natural stone as part of the jewelry piece, though with the obsidian, it is pretty non-descript. However, it has a nice smooth texture, which I like. The back of piece is rather decorative as well, and I like the look of the chain. My only concern about this is that the chain is only 17 inches (not the 18 inches described), meaning that it may be too small for larger necked men. So just keep that in mind when purchasing.

This is a nice necklace and would be great for men or women. I would wear this with a costume but I know many people who would wear this daily. It would make a nice gift, it comes in bubble wrap in a black velvet bag. Overall, no issues with the necklace.

Hello all! This is a really handsome cross necklace for the special man in your life- or if you are that man, for yourself as a reminder of the great God who sent His Son for you. The pendant is made of real quartz, and the manufacturing of both the cross and the chain is very good quality.
I don’t know why the chain is so short, though, because with as a large a cross as this is, the chain should be at least 20″ long. It is about 18″. I recommend replacing the chain with a longer one if you feel that it looks odd with the included chain. If not, it still is long enough to not be a choker.
Great for giving as a gift in the included black velvet bag, or for adding to your manly jewelry collection.

I really loved this cross until it broke on me. I bought this back in mid September and as of today 10/31 the top and bottom stone have broken free of whatever glue was holding it down. The chain was also too small for anyone larger than a child but that was no great issue imo.

This is a bit large for me, so I am going to get a longer chain for it to hang lower. I think the description is correct, just in person, it seemed much larger.
