   Its beautiful…albeit not a gold as the picture…I ended up buying a whole string of them on etsy…there is a high variation of the gold. If you want to be sure to get high gold, buy it yourself and make a necklace its quite easy. But uf your not the artsy time this does you good. The stone has awesome energy. I feel more confident and less empathic (good to block negativity).

   Only came with one stone bead, not two as advertised. So that is disappointing. Also it is so dark. The gold is even hard to see outside in bright sunlight and there are only a few flecks visible. Sorry but I can not recomend as it is not as advertised.

   I’m working with all kinds of obsidians lately—Black, mahogany and rainbow. But I really wanted to try gold sheen since I have solar plexus chakra issues. I was pleased with the price (and of course shipping speed) of this piece, so i decided to give it a try. Arrived in a cute round box and the stone is beautifully chatoyant. What I found most impressive is the energy I got from just a small pendant—I put it on my solar plexus and immediately began to feel warmth throughout my body, all the way down to my toes! (Solar plexus chakra rules circulation). The sphere shape of the crystal spreads energy outward like a bubble—very effective. The stone is also easy to cleanse and recharge—loves a sunbath. I already want to order more 🙂

   I was impressed with the color as some mentioned theirs was just black. The string is a little flimsy around the adjustment area, but still decent.

   I would choose to shop in person for this type of item in the future. The picture is much different than the one I received. There is no gold color in it at all.

   I love the stone (20mm) and the cord upon which it’s hung adjusts easily and extensively. That’s a must for me, so by my standards this was an outstanding buy.

   I received an email from a list I’m on about the benefits of wearing gold obsidian with an offer to sell me a necklace. The problem was they wanted 50 bucks for it. I liked the benefits that were described but didn’t want to spend that kind of money for a necklace. And so my search began.

   I found a couple of bracelets but I’ve never been a bracelet person. Then I found this necklace. It looked almost exactly like the one I had been offered but at a fraction of the price.

   I was a little worried that it wouldn’t be real stone because of the price but luckily I was wrong. I love this necklace and love the way they tied it in the back. You can loosen it to get it on and then pull on the strings to tighten it up to where you want it. No annoying clasp to deal with.

   Definitely my new favorite necklace.
