I’m very happy with this Moonstone Raw Stone that I ordered from Amazon. The piece I received measures about 2″ across, and it is absolutely beautiful. The crystals inside are well formed, and the exterior rock has been broken just enough to reveal a flash of color glinting off the moonstone, while leaving a rough natural exterior across most of the piece. This is a high quality piece of unfinished moonstone with a raw shape that is natural and unique. There is a soft pink velvet pouch for storage included in the box.

This raw white moonstone from WHAL&YUNE is lovely in person. Looks much like the listing photo, however my specimen has almost no blue iridescent spots. When I turn it in the light, it does shimmer in places, but I just don’t see any blue spots in my stone. But the black spots shine a bit, and there are some glassy looking planes in a few places. I thought I saw blue shimmer for me once in one small spot on the stone, but I’ve been unable to spot it again. I think that this just happens to be the specimen I received-with natural stone, attributes displayed vary. It just depends on the cut and section of the stone piece you get. It is a really pretty crystal despite that. I love the larger size on this raw stone. I didn’t entirely understand the instructions they sent with it. Some of the directions make sense, for example, they say avoid chemical exposure to it. Fair enough. Avoid sunlight exposure. Avoid Collision. (Smashing it with something)…. All three of those concepts I understand. But then it also says: “Avoid Sleeping Wear,” “Avoid Sports Wear”, and it “Needs Demagnetized.” I’m not certain what they mean by those three warnings. It does say in the listing photos, that you can cleanse it by running it under water for a few minutes. (Note: The little pink velvety storage bag they send with this SO soft, I adore it!!)

Bigger than I was expecting. And they are so pretty. Heavy in weight and looks better than pictures.

I bought 2, and there was a big size difference between the two. One barely had mica inclusions and pretty much no iridescence. The other however was much bigger and had some iridescence in one side and super tiny iridescence on 3 other spots along with a lot of mica inclusion. So one was ok, and the other one was much better. It’s a hit or miss with this one but I am happy and I think it’s worth it at the current discount of $3.99
