Wonderful. I’ve tested several pieces from Moon Magic in recent weeks, all of them onyx or obsidian, and they’ve all become instant favourites in my jewelry collection.
This ring is a simple but stunningly beautiful piece. The band is simple rhodium plated silver, completely plain to allow the stone to shine, and it has a very unusual elongated four pronged setting that wraps around the stone. the obsidian itself it rough cut. I’ve no idea if each stone is unique or if this is achieved by some kind of process that results in identical stones for every ring, but it’s beautiful all the same. Only the top of the stone is shaped into an almost flat, polished surface, but the sides are seemingly random and rough cut.
It’s a stunning ring, and at this price it seems like a bargain to me. I love it.

The ring is beautiful and looks elegant when worn. The black stone has a nice shine and feels well made. It’s comfortable and easy to style with different outfits. The only downside is the price — it feels a little expensive for what it is. I actually found same quality with cheaper price on Etsy.

Not only does this black obsidian ring have a unique look to it, but so does the container that it comes in. Now as far as the ring itself, it comes with a beautiful black colored stone. And yes it is a real stone. Which I really like because you’ll never get the same one as somebody else. When it comes to the size of the stone, I will admit I was worried at first but it’s actually a nice decent size. The band is .925 sterling silver, but has a coat of 18 karat gold. So you don’t have to worry about your skin itching, tarnishing or turning your finger green. The width of the band is also a little bit thinner than most, so it feels like you’re not really wearing anything. And as far as the size, I actually ordered a size smaller than I usually do and it fits perfectly. The only worry I do have is whether or not the prawns are going to be able to continuously hold that stone in. I guess time will tell, but as of right now, I would definitely recommend!
