First, the quality: absolutely lovely. The material is thick and comforting which is exactly what you want. Not too heavy as to make you too warm, but you know it is around you. I purchased the navy/royal blue to match my lapis lazuli rosaries and it is a perfect shade match. The shawl has a very soft hand, and it drapes beautifully. The wool blend is not scratchy at all, and it has a lovely netted trim on the edges of the narrow side. Really high end quality for a very reasonable price.
Second, the size: HUGE! This is a giant wrap, I am 5’4″ tall, and it completely envelops me. It’s THE perfect wrap for people that are easily chilled, like me. This shawl is as long as a king sized bed, and you most certainly can use it as a light blanket. This is the perfect travel wrap, I know it will be going everywhere with me, and I think it would make a fabulous gift for anyone, or a treat yourself moment 😊

Not as soft unfortunately. But its large… very large… color is pretty but it feels rough on my skin somehow … its too bad because I was hoping this could be my meditation blanket… but when I meditate, my senses heightens and this blanket doesn’t feel great on my skin…

The moment I opened the package I knew this material was not what I expected from a meditative wrap. I immediately came to the sight to read the description. It is a blend of wool and polyester. I expected a meditation wrap to be made of high vibrational fabrics; wool, linen, cotton, silk maybe but you used polyester as the blend? I will have to return it, thank you but no thank you.

Die Farbe ist genau so schön, wie auf den Bildern.
Auch die Dicke des Stoffes ist super.
Die Größe ist wirklich sehr sehr schön groß und man fühlt sich direkt geborgen, sobald man ihn anhatt.
Das einzige, was mir negativ aufgefallen ist, ist der Geruch.
Es riecht tatsächlich nach einem Mix aus Gülle und Chemie, das sollte allerdings nach einem Waschgang draussen sein bzw. ich räuchere meinen einfach mit Räucherstäbchen ein.

This shawl is enormous. It is probably 100% unnatural fabrics (I doubt there is wool in there) but it doesn’t matter.
You can use this shawl as a tent, a distress flag at sea, a hammock, a baby cradle, a giant bundle of your wordly goods if you have to evacuate and become a refugee, a blanket, a slanket, a picnic blanket in the park with George, a luxurious turban, a smoking wrap, a coat to run out with the dog, a skirt after skinny dipping or of course, a meditation blanket.
Worth every penny, but of course, now I can’t buy any more as I’ve actually bought the largest one I could possibly use.

This is the best purchase I’ve made! It’s hard to find a scarf that is long and has multi functions. This Meditation Shawl fits all your needs. It’s made from quality fabric. It’s large. I’m a tall man and this gives me lots of extra material to wrap around my shoulders, neck, even my body. Once out of the package I washed it with a little liquid detergent on delicate cycle. No fabric softener. Dried it on the lowest heat setting my dryer has for 15 minutes. It came out beautifully. It didn’t welt. It didn’t pile. The tassels were all in tact. Once I washed it, the material was soft and free from any prior treatments to prevent mold or mildew while in transit. Then I did what I felt was the most appropriate thing to do, I wrapped it around me while I meditated. All the while putting my energy on it. This may sound silly and crazy to some but it was important for me to bless it and make it my own. I’m so happy I purchased this Meditation Shawl.

I have been buying this item from a long time love these almost all colors I have but now they have lower the quality of the shawl and length is also little smaller than previous ones I bought . Plz keep making them longer and heavy like you used to made them before and plz bring more colors . I really appreciate it . Thank you

Love the size as a cover up or wrap. Great weight and easy to carry in my bag. A little bulky to be used as a scarf.

I have no idea what everyone else is talking about in these reviews. Maybe it depends what color you get? I got the white one and it’s so soft, it’s even softer than the other one I bought from these guys. Other one was 60% wool. This thing is super soft to the touch, very comfortable on the skin, and it just looks incredible. It’s an off-white color which makes it look like a bit of a cream color overall and I love it honestly. I literally wear these things everywhere because for some reason I love being wrapped up in them haha. But yeah this thing is incredible and even better than I thought it would be. Again, I don’t know about the other colors. Some people were saying it was super course and rough feeling and smelled bad but mine is superrrr soft and it did have an odd smell out of the package but the smell was nice to me honestly so no complaints here. Wonderful shawl and I’ll definitely be buying more of them in the future. I’ve had my other one from Om Shanti for years and I still love that one too. Obviously the longer you have them and depending on usage you’re gonna put some wear on them like any other fabric and they’ll get a bit dirty over time just use something that’s like a fabric softener that’s wool friendly and I’m sure you’ll be fine. The other one I have I’ve washed in the machine and it was fine (again, 60% wool on that one) this one I want to retain its softness so I’m gonna be more careful about washing it when it’s time for it but overall I love these things. I’m an odd one though I’ll wear these things over my head in a Walmart 😂 much love and thanks for making such a great product!
