Purchased to help with esophageal spasms. In doing some research, it has been said that peppermint can help relax the esophagus and ease the pain and discomfort. I started using them and found that it did take time to work its magic, but it definitely helped ease the spams, and the taste is not too strong. I felt a cooling sensation in my chest after taking it and eventually I felt better and was able to go to sleep.,

Day 1, it helped my daughter with her abdominal pain. I tried everything and nothing worked, this pill after 5 minutes stops her pain completely. Only thing later on the pain comes back but I can’t give her another pill because it’s only once a day

These really do work! I’ve been focusing on diet and when you change and eat better and less, you get bloated while your stomach adjusts. I find the best way to take these is before bed. It moves things along so you can start your day feeling great! Just take one though, as I took 2 or 3 together and it was too strong. Take one and be done!

These have saved my stomach! When I feel my stomach spasming, I take one of these (with lots of water otherwise it might stuck in your throat a little – even tho the pill is quite small – when you try to swallow it and cause acid reflux the rest of the day) and after a few days of taking these 1-2 times a day, I feel so much better.
I do not feel better immediately, though. It does take a few days and during those days my stomach does hurt. But if I don’t take these, then the stomach ache lasts a whole week or more and I feel so messed up.
I don’t taste the peppermint after I swallow it. But there’s a strong smell when I use the bathroom.

I got this one for the enteric coating effect BUT it does give off the peppermint breath and taste in my mouth, it’s not terrible just weird. Most of the time I take it late enough that I sleep through that and don’t even notice it. So I’m not sure if it’s truly “enteric coated.”

After a disappointing experience with my last peppermint gel capsules, I tried these. Similar to Heathers Tummy Tamers, which seem to no longer be available. I used those for some time.
I have ulcerative colitis and rely on these to quiet my gut down, so I don’t have to keep getting up all night to go to the bathroom. I take two at a time before going to bed. No heartburn afterward, no peppermint “blast” in the morning when I go to the bathroom…like another product I tried. I believe it has helped.
When you have UC, you struggle to find things…anything OTC…that helps relieve gas and bloating. At minimum, these capsules make you feel a bit less bloated during the following day. But flareups (such as I’m in now) can vary in extent, and it’s not always easy to gauge how much of a real effect these or anything else has. I drink kombucha, try to eat Mediterranean, etc., as much as possible. Not to mention I use Tums and Gas-X a lot. Tylenol for tension headaches (with caffeine) is my “go to” when I feel really lousy!
