Of course, these would make a great gift for someone who would appreciate them. For the money, there was not a less expensive option for what they can be used for. The quartz is nicely carved and polished, with a perfect pinch of cloud color. There are many publications on Wicca by Llewellyn. I enjoyed reading Buckland’s blue book and a book on casting a magic healing circle.
A circle can be opened and closed with these stones [even with an altar] marking north, south, east, and west, and can represent earth, wind, fire, and water. To do this traditionally can be expensive or not, yet the power of prayer and ‘healing meditation’ can be sought with these stones. They look nice and will be effective for charging with positive energy. I myself got them for these reasons, yet have put them aside until I am more comfortable in my own path.
For how to open and close a circle of thanks/healing, consider a nonchalant perusal of “Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner”, by Scott Cunningham, Llewellyn Publications.

I LOVE my new crystal wands! They are larger than I expected nd they arrived nicely packed. I was honestly worried that at least one would arrive damaged. But there is just no way that these could get damaged in transit when packed this way.
The attention to detail was much appreciated. From the handwritten “thank you note,” cut in the shape of a heart, to the unexpected necklace gift. Receiving my product was, in itself, a pleasant experience! I am definitely purchasing more products from this vendor!
The real, unexpected gift, though, was in the “potency” of these crystals! I used them to meditate and they actually catalyzed my very first OBE! I was in the corpse pose, on my bed. I placed one crystal wand over my third eye, one over my heart, one over my solar plexus, and the fourth right below my navel. I let go, relaxed with every out-breath. Suddenly, I am in my living room! I know my body is laying on my bed in my bedroom, but my awareness is free from it. I, as disembodied awareness, am able to explore! I always imagined, when reading about OBEs, that it would be a very frightening experience. It wasn’t! It’s as if a deeper part of us. Our soul? Subconscious? Knows that there is absolutely nothing to fear.
These crystals are like very powerful amplifiers! You can feel, easily notice your heightened state of consciousness! These crystals have taken my meditation practice to a whole new height! They are very beautiful as well. I decided to get the clear ones. And I love them very much. The necklace, I gifted to my mother, who absolutely loved it!
