I was desperate to learn reiki and have been searching for the perfect book for a while now. Since I already have books from this series, I thought I’d try this one.
I learned a bit already from chapter one and am now on chapter two, but I did skim through the rest of the book and noticed how there’s illustrations taking up a whole side of a page and like 15 blank pages at end of book. I feel like all of that space was wasted. Her other book has more pages I think, so I felt this one may not have as much information in it. I will update my review as I get further in the book.

I bought this book primarily for reference purposes. It certainly is the right size to sit on my desk for easy access, and the contents seem very comprehensive. I have not read it cover to cover yet, which I am looking forward to.

Although, I never fully understood, I reaped the benefits of reiki for years. Reiki has helped me to deal with headaches, and severe backpain for several years now and I thought it was about time I learned something about it. This book, seemed like the perfect place to start. This book broke it all down for me, starting with the different branches. There is so much more to it than I ever thought! The book explains the meaning of the hand positions. It always amazes me how it can feel like the person is giving you a massage and yet they aren’t even touching you. This book explained all about the energy that is being manipulated. It was fascinating!
I thought I had known all the positive health benefits that reiki had been giving to me, but I didn’t know the half of it. I wish I could encourage all people to be open minded enough to check it out!

I have purchased many books on Reiki. This is the one I should have purchased first. It would have saved me a lot of money. This compilation of all information Reiki is the first book I go to when I can’t remember something from my Reiki class. Everything is in this book. Read it before and after your attunements.
