This is the perfect size for portability and it has more than enough paper to last for a long time. Paper is thick and ink will not carry into the next page easily. This is an amazing journal. The quality is absolutely breathtaking and beautiful, and the letter given to each customer PROVES the dedication and love put into this. Pen does not bleed through the pages, and it has ample space for whatever you please. It isn’t too cumbersome, and is a perfect handheld size. Highly recommend for ANYONE looking for a journal to draw in, design, write, whatever.

I believe this book is creative and classic in style which I love. The quality seems good but I just got it today so can’t give real testimony on that yet. It does have a slight moldy smell so I really hope there isn’t real mold within the material. I plan to spray with favorite perfume which I hope helps. And there are only 152 pages if you count front and back. So that is really disappointing and I feel it should be discounted for that quantity control issue. But I love it too much to return it for that reason which a lot of others said also. I love I can fit it in a medium size purse and take anywhere.

I bought this for use in my Jeep. Never had paper for some reason when I needed to jot something down. Sure, I could have just bought a pad, but, this is just a lot cooler. Love the look and feel and it fits in my door pocket perfectly. I did not think this unit would be as solid and well made as it is for the price I paid. Top notch!

– looks bada$$. Whether you want to channel your inner medieval adventurer or love out your dreams for making a grimoir, the journal delivers.
– there is a thoughtful surprise inside for the sentimental… (no spoilers)
Cons/quirks (for some people)
– It’s does have a bit of an old paper and leather smell/scent. Nothing too bad in my opinion, it’s actually a bit nostalgic.
– the rugged edges are not for everyone. But if you don’t mind, it is actually done really well. Perfectly imperfect

I can’t believe I’m actually staying something like that, but yeah, it’s actually exactly what you’d expect. The paper actually feels aged, rough, almost cloth like. The binding is ACTUALLY leather, the cover is ACTUALLY leather. Like, real leather, not fake stuff.
This is perfect for my DnD character, to take notes in (as well as writing her backstory as journal entries)
This thing feels super sturdy and very rugged. This is the perfect “old journal” looking journal you can find.
Way better than I expected, especially at this price.

Moi j’adore les choses artisanales, faites à la main, avec une âme, et celui-là… c’est de loin le plus beau journal que j’ai eu de ma vie.
Du VRAI cuir qui sent bon!! C’est du cuir épais, souple. L’odeur reste, c’est un bonheur à chaque fois que je l’ouvre.
Travail artisanal – on voit qu’il y a de l’amour : La bordure frangée à la main, la couture, les pages un peu vieillottes à la main… tu vois que quelqu’un l’a fait avec amour. Les 200 pages sont épaisses, couleur ivoire vintage, parfaites pour écrire au stylo plume sans que ça traverse. Magnifique : Il est vraiment beau. Les bords frangés des pages font tout son charme.
Pour cadeau ou pour se faire plaisir : C’est original, c’est pas un cadeau qu’on voit partout. Pour un cadeau de Noël, fête, ou juste pour se gâter soi-même (on le mérite!).

This was absolutely gorgeous. It looks genuinely antique and the material is very durable. The paper in made out of thick parchment like material and I’ve never had a problem with bleed thru even while using pen. There is a lot of pages to be able to write in. And I loved the leather cover and how authentic it made the entire thing feel.

It’s a lovely journal and exactly what I was looking for. I’m only docking a star because it only has 100 pages instead of the advertised 200. It technically has 200 pages if you count the front and back of each page but that’s not how pages are usually counted in a blank book. It’s enough for my purposes though so I’ll keep it but I do sense some deceptive marketing at play.
