My partner and I are big fans of ginger tea, and this one is truly excellent. The most important thing is the flavor, and this tea delivers. The aroma while it’s steeping is just fantastic.
I also really appreciate the thoughtful details of the product. The tea bags themselves are simple filter paper pouches with no staples, strings, or tags, which I prefer. The large quantity of 120 bags comes in a sturdy, resealable pouch that does a great job of keeping them fresh, which is essential when you buy in bulk. Since it’s still quite warm here in Houston, I’ve been enjoying it both as a classic hot tea in the evenings and brewed strong and then chilled over ice for a spicy iced tea during the day.

I prefer nettle leaves in a tea bag to grab and go. Wonderful pleasing flavor. Excellent price for the amount of tea bags in the bagful! Seem to be of quality bags and string to pour hot water over the bag!

This tea is basically ground/flaked ginger in a tea bag. So it is completely herbal without any tea leaves… Opening the bag, one is hit by the strong scent of ginger which is refreshing. Preparation is simple, just steep a bag in a cup of hot water for 3-5 minutes. I do 5 minutes and use a couple of bags to make it really have a strong ginger zing which is quite relaxing if you take your time to sip at it. They even conveniently include a set of bamboo tongs to help fish the tea bags out of your tea cup. As far as I can tell, it should be gluten free since it has only one ingredient, the ginger. This doesn’t come with added sugar so if you want your ginger tea sweetened, you can do so with a sweetener and sweetness level of your choice. I personally like adding a teaspoon or two of white sugar or better yet, honey which soothes the throat. Also, in a pinch, one could possibly break open the tea bags and use it directly after hydrating it in cooking if you run out of fresh ginger. At 120 bags, the price point is decent and I’d highly recommend this product.

I just received my package of tea roughly 25 30 minutes ago. The 1st cup was one teabag 6 ounces then I did two teabags in 6 ounces and then I did three teabags in 6 ounces. I attachedthe picture of what the tea looks like after stepping 4 teabags in 6 ounces of water for roughly 8 minutes. The taste of ginger is completely nonexistent I added sugar still do not taste ginger it’s just warm water with sugar at this point and utter waste of my money. I’m better off buying the cheap make-believe ginger tea that you can get at any store these companies charging this much money for lawn clippings at best is ridiculous and unacceptable. If anybody has found an honest to God tea that taste like actual honest to God ginger please let me know because at this point I’m going to go bro buying these disgusting tease they claim to be made out of ginger. And obviously because it’s a food item it cannot be returned so I will use 5 to 10 teabags at a time until I run out of this item just so I don’t feel like I’ve wasted my money. I guess reading all the reviews for the item being free to the purchaser makes a whole lotta sense! One man even posting that it has an intense ginger taste….. if that’s how you feel then my dude you have not had actual ginger!

I saw the opportunity to order this I jumped on it because I use ginger to help with inflammation, nausea, circulation, and even my joint pain. What stood out to me was that it is 100% ginger but nothing else added! The only initial concern I had was that it’s sourced in Vietnam and I typically try to find things that are made in USA in certified labs with testing for metals and such. However, I have to say that all of my favorite clothing seems to come from Vietnam as it is usually high-quality materials and good craftsmanship, so for that reason, I decided to give this a try. (I know it’s not the same, but it does speak to business pride and practice cultures ).
So when this arrived, I was pleased that it was well sealed in professional packaging. And when I opened it up, I was hit with the strong scent of ginger, and I instantly knew that this was going to be a potent tea. However, the appearance of the teabags in the bag was a little concerning because they seemed squished up and wrinkled.. that gave me pause for concern. However, when I open the bag up and inspected, the ginger by concerns were completely dismissed. It looked very clean and preserved..
I steeped it for about three minutes in boiling water and instantly the color changed as it should, and the fragrance was pure ginger delight. I was also pleasantly surprised that this particular type of ginger has a much different taste than what I’m used to here in Hawaii. I really enjoyed it as it didn’t seem to have as much of a bite to it.
I’m really pleased with this ginger and have been enjoying drinking it. At roughly 15 cents a bag, I think it’s in awesome value. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is because it would be beneficial to have more information about its quality control measures, and the crammed wrinkled bags. Those are really minor though, and I think this is a recommendable tea.
