There is a very thin coat of blue metallic material on the bottom of what appears to be a raised clear glass? dome. viewed from the side akk you see is the cleat stuff. This is not the characteristics of a true moonstone so I’m sending it back.

As you can see in the pictures, this is a “stone’ with a “film” over it and i just took it out of the package and it’s ripped. Product description is VERY MISLEADING. I have another actual moonstone ring and it doenst have a “film” over the stone. I was so excited to get this, it’s a cool fit but false advertising and now it’s ripped..

I know moonstone is a rather clear stone and is somewhat reflective of colors around it, but i thought perhaps it did have some bluish tint -wrong! I like the style, but not so much the quality, It is a metal setting so it will probably tarnish fast. However, I’ve bought several stylish rings set in silverplate on Amazon at the $16-20 price range that will last quite a while for my need vs price. Adding silverplate and more colored stones would make a real hit…HINT-hint -make them!! If the manufacturer should make more effort here then more effort= more sales. Meanwhile, Etsy has some good global deals in sterling silver.
