I know that gemstones can vary greatly in color, but this is just very white and pale pink. Not the colors I expected opal to be. Pretty, just not the colors that are portrayed in the picture.

First time I ordered the Peruvian Pink Opal bracelet, one of the beads had a chip, so I sent it back. They shipped the second one pretty quickly, but still has a chipped bead plus another one has a weird concave in it where the thread hole is. I still like the look of the rest of the beads, so I guess I’ll keep it. Luckily the defects are sort of tucked away near the ends, so they shouldn’t be noticeable from a distance.
