Great quality pure organic turmeric powder which helps with brain health and overall body health. I’ve been using this as part of a superfood creamer I use in my coffee and didn’t like the way it dissolved in my coffee remain clumpy so I just decided to buy this chair ground turmeric and it dissolves nice and easily it works great. I’ve purchased Jiva Organic Turmeric Powder from amazon a few times in the past years.
I use it to make “Golden Paste”, which is combination of Tumeric, Coconut Oil, and fresh ground black pepper. It’s an amazing anti-inflammatory and works quickly. I’ve been able to almost completely stop using ibuprofen for joint and lower back pain because of it.
Anyway, the ingredients have to be fresh in order to be effective and I’ve never had a problem with this brand.
I was happy to see these smaller packages as an add-on item for a good price of $4.79. I bought 4 at once. Because they’re individually packaged it should stay fresher even longer.

Flavorful, large, get your moneys worth since I doubt you’ll be using tons of this daily lol. It’s unfortunate how pricey things are bur health is worth it. It’s fresh and good quality. It is sold as said. I heard that green tea combined with psyllium and turmeric and cinnamon are very beneficial. I started with this and this size as recommended for the recipe but wished for more in a good way. Benefits TBA. Look up the recipe too for yourselves to see if it suits you.

I don’t really use this as a spice. I use this for health reasons, stirring about a tablespoon of the turmeric powder along with quarter teaspoon of black pepper into a bit of olive oil in the bottom of a cup. Tastes a bit like a spicy nut butter = pretty good flavour. This powdered form is a really finely ground compared to others turmeric powders, not sure if that’s a good thing. Too soon to say if this turmeric powder works as well as the brand I was using. The price of this is very good which if you are using a lot of it like I am, is great.

Don’t forget to mix it with black pepper for maximum absorption. Delicious with some lemon and paprika. Also very healthy. A lot of health benefits. It is the King of spices for a reason. They also used it in India as currency. It should be in everyone’s diet. Beware pregnant women and people that take high blood pressure pills.

The best purchase! I use turmeric, probably a bit different than other people do…. for a golden paste. Golden paste, which is turmeric powder, freshly ground black pepper, coconut oil, and water, is a perfect additional to my dogs food. It’s freshness and quality is exactly what I was looking for.
I often found myself buying 5 ounces at a time and doing that every two weeks. Finally, I took her out of buying a bigger bulk and it did not disappoint.
The color is on point, unfortunately, I am not sure if the flavor and spiciness is fully there, but it is exactly what I need to make turmeric golden paste.
If you’re unaware of what turmeric golden paste is, it’s beneficial for both humans and pets. The benefits are endless. The main one being anti-inflammatory support, joint heath, antioxidant support, digestive, and immune support, & skin benefits.

I can’t believe how fast I went through this two pound bag. I’ve learned a lot of things since then. I was never quite sure how much was okay to take a day. I guess, generally a teaspoon a day is what people take. That’s what I usually take. Sometimes a teaspoon two or three times a day. On occaisions I took two teaspoons, Jiva turmeric, with a 1/2 teaspoon of ginger a bit of cumin seed and about 10 pepper corns. I chewed the peppercorns and swallowed. Then I put the rest in a glass of warm milk. I have to say it’s like taking 2 Advils but much more benefits for your health.
Time to buy another. It’s worth it. Please take at least with some pepper corns. Good luck!!!!!

This is very good quality Indian turmeric, finely grinded, rich in color and flavor. Be careful with the cheaper ones (especially if not from India) as in my experience the grind can be rough, pale in color with traces of sand and off in flavor.
