Lost in the Crowd –
I was looking for a heavy decorative object to set alongside some other rocks and fossils I have on display. The size is exactly as described in the product info. I was a little disappointed in how flat the color was as I was hoping for something a little more exciting. That said, it’s interesting to look at and looks good among my other items. On its own, it’s a little underwhelming.
Lost in the Crowd –
I am not a “rock aficionado” aka “RockHound” by any means but my son IS so when I saw this rock I thought to check it out. On first glance this rock is beautiful and multi faceted on all edges with ribbons of gold, bronze, silver, grey, white and clear. Wonderful striations of color and sediment hardened into this specimen over many many years. It is large and in one piece. We do not have any rocks of this type in our local area so this is a great specimen that my son will love for his collection! Took a quick vid to show off this sphalerite.

Size will always look larger in the photos than when you actually get them. A large stone will seem cheap in price, but not necessarily what you get, unless it has Size Options. Ads will show a large stone along side a cheap price. But that cheap price is not what one pays for that large stone that accompanies the main ad. However, the stone I received is very nice.
