I’m unsure why the title specifies this is a bracelet for women, as it’s very much a unisex bracelet, fitting wrists from approximately 5.8-8 inches.
The quality of this bracelet is wonderful! The beads are smooth and well-finished, and it’s got a comfortable weight to it – it is definitely real cinnabar. At this price point, the beads are likely not solid cinnabar, but still cinnabar. The beads are 10mm, for anyone wondering how large (about .4”.)
This bracelet is not a lotus, obviously, regardless of description. It depicts the Chinese Five Gods of Wealth, deities who represent wealth and good fortune from all directions. They are believed to bring wealth and luck, and are also seen as protectors against evil spirits. Cinnabar also is purported to have similar qualities, believed to offer protection, promote emotional healing, and aid in manifesting desires, particularly in areas like wealth, assertiveness, and love.
The price seems to be good for what it is – IF the beads are fully cinnabar. If they are mixed with resin, it’s maybe $2-3 too high. But absolutely worth the purchase price anyway – this is a beautifully made, lovely bracelet and the presentation packaging is gorgeous! A lovely mint green box with some kind of clear film that holds the bracelet neatly in place while showcasing it, tucked into a slipcase. Very pleased with this choice!
