I once decades ago tried a Chlorella powder and it was just not for me. However, I am trying to live better and now as an older adult, my tastes have become more flexible.
This powder did make a mess, even before I opened the inner portion. I suppose this is common, so just a heads up. There is no measuring took or directions on dosage. The powder is very fine, so I decided to just start with 1/2 teaspoon in 4 ounces water. It again was messy and some clumps on the teaspoon were stuck and not movable. I mixed with a hand blender and it blended okay. The consistency was clear and smooth. There was no grit and sandy taste. The taste reminded me of the dentist. It was like the fluoride treatments I had as a child and the smoky taste in your mouth after they drilled a tooth. But at least it was not the dirty green taste I remember from these drinks I had before. I could see some finding it palatable and even pleasant. I then added a fruit health drink to it and it was pleasant for me. I always now use it mixed with somethings else or in a smoothy. I usually drink this for lunch.
I do believe the powder is a good quality and is providing benefits. I have felt healthier overall and seem to be more regular. There is an expiration date provided. I received mine with almost 2 years left. The price point is average to good.
Due to all the positives, this deserves a good rating of 4 stars. I did not give 5 due to things like the lack of directions, dosage tools and controlling the mess / lumps.

This chlorella powder came in a ziplock bag. It’s really messy. It taste awful but it’s good me. There are no directions on the packaging and it did not come with a scoop. I add one scoop into my morning black coffee and it makes it bearable to drink this stuff. It mixes well and that’s a big plus. I feel a bit more energized this past week since drinking this powder but mostly my skin has a glow that I haven’t had in a long time. Yay!

There isn’t really a suggested serving size.However, it does say that there are two point 26 servings, which is a hundred gram serving, which delivers about sixty one grams of protein per serving.
What this product I was adding about a teaspoon or a half a teaspoon to my smoothie.
This is a product that you probably don’t want to take by itself.As it’s pretty strong tasting since it is algae.
Chlorella is a superfood and is known for its high protein content.Vitamin and minerals and also antioxidants.
It’s a great product to add to supplements.And other things that you are already taking in your smoothie.Just to increase the nutritional value and your overall well being.
Chlorella does support immune function?Improve digestion and also helps manage cholesterol and blood sugar levels.
I already use similar products like this.In my smoothies, I notice similar gains and effectiveness from it like I did from other products.You do get quite a bit in this bag.So it should last you quite a while.
If you’re blending it or using a shaker, it mixes quite well.If you’re trying to do it with a spoon, not as much so keep that in mind when making whatever you are with it.

The powder is a vibrant green, which usually indicates freshness. It mixes reasonably well into my morning water, yoghurt, and juice. The taste is earthy, as expected with chlorella, but not overly bitter compared to some other brands I’ve tried.
I like that it comes in a sturdy resealable bag that keeps the powder fresh, and easy to store in my pantry. A little goes a long way, so the 8oz size should last me quite a while. This makes its value fairly cost-effective despite the higher price point.

If you’ve never used this stuff before, just know it is not pleasant tasting. Definitely have to mix with something more flavorful, and hopefully the flavor of this doesn’t stand out when you do. If you have used this before, more power to you, you get plenty in this 8 ounce bag… but I don’t think this is for me. Tastes like if I were to dig up some moss, dry it, and then grind it into a powder to consume it… and leaves residue very easily on anything it comes in contact with, even the spoon you scooped it out with. Doesn’t seem too bad to wash off, but certainly a mess in the moment. I haven’t found my go-to consumption application for it just yet, but I’m sure I can squeeze it into something before I workout.

I got this chlorella powder out of curiosity and have been using it for several weeks. I like the resealable bag because it keeps the powder fresh. The powder itself is very fine, so it can be easily mixed into smoothies and juices without forming clumps. The color is dark green and looks clean and uniform. The flavor is definitely earthy, so it’s best paired with something aromatic. I like it because the ingredient list is simple and the package size is large considering the price. The downside is that it has a strong odor when you first open it and can stain if spilled. It also does not dissolve easily in clear water. Overall, this is a simple, high-quality powder that does what you expect it to do as long as you’re happy with the natural flavor.

I mix it in my protein shakes and does not have any significant adverse taste to it. The quality is very good, as I take it to balance my iron and other vitamins, I tried to stay two more natural ways to intake. If you already take cholera, or looking to add it to your diet this is one to consider.
