I bought this set because of the book since I already have the original deck, but having another one for learning purposes and practicing is definitely a plus. there’s a separate page for each card with general meanings, love and romance meaning, career or money meaning, personal and spiritual, as well as reversed meaning. There is some space to write your own notes as well. Every card in the book has a journaling question to reflect upon, and on the left-hand side, there are basic meanings as well as numerology and astrology connection with each card. I love the size of the book and even though it is for beginners, it is very thorough and systematic. The back of the book has a quick reference guide for each card of major and minor Arcana with a mini picture and upright and reversed meaning keywords. It also lists the exact page where you can find detailed descriptions. The car deck is OK, not necessarily of the highest level quality but not bad either. This is a very nice box suitable for a present to someone or to yourself. let those messages come through freely and may the universe help you find your answers.

If you’re looking for a very detailed book of history and instructions for Tarot, this is it. It’s also nice to have a box to store the book and cards together. It was a little overly detailed and meticulous for me. I realized I was looking for more of a simple quick-start guide/card set, so it took me a little extra time to weed through the details to get that.

I am relatively new to learning tarot and this RWS deck and guide book are AMAZING and very helpful for learning. I am simultaneously learning the standard readings through the guide book while also utilizing my intuition. I really like how in depth the guide book goes connecting tarot to numerology and astrology as well. It’s has different aspects for each card like its symbolism, standard meaning, reversed, financial/career, romance/relationships and spiritual/growth. I really like the guidebook and classic RWS deck. 10/10

The cards are not the best quality, they’re stiff, glossy(sticks together like crazy) and the edges are painful when you riffle shuffle them, but they are really good for study the cards, the colors, the symbols etc.. I used them to study and displaying my daily card in my altar! But I wouldn’t used it to do daily readings! For the price of the bundle its really worth it! This is a good way to start your Tarot journey!

The book is fantastic. Lots of info on each card plus it has some layouts. The cards I don’t like much because they stick together and makes it hard for me to shuffle them. I do however have another deck that I use but mainly for this set for the book. I may use the cards for decoration. They are stuff and hurt my hands but again they are sturdy and should last long. If I could figure out a way to make them not stick together I’d be so happy. Other than that negative, this would make a great gift for someone that’s a beginner at reading tarot.

I was amazed at how clear and easy the book was to use and follow. It’s intelligent, well organized, and a wonderful place to begin if you’re interested in Taro.
I wish the print had been a little darker black against the white page as it would’ve been a bit easier to read. Other than that, I am 100% satisfied.
It makes an incredible gift for a very modest price, and the quality of the cards as well as the book, even the box, is superb.
If you know, someone interested in alternative healing, projective techniques, union, psychology, spirituality, or simply curious about something really fun and interesting, I would strongly suggest you give this to them as a gift. It could also be a lot of fun to give to a younger person. I wish I had gotten started reading tarot many years ago.
